There was a thread like this last year. Its your car, do what you want. Personally, I wont rock any stickers on my ride unless im trying to hide something behind the sticker lol. I think they take away from the grown and sexy look that vip is all about.

I will run some at shows for sponsors...but for the most part, even then they are small and understated. The only one I have on my car right now is a small "AHVM" in chrome on my back lower window for our vip meets and a small chrome Night Garage.

Maybe it'll be okay to rock a small sticker if it's meaningful. Like if it's your car club or....your sponsors asked you to. VSC stickers are okay too, if it's small, it's to let other ppl know what community you're on online. It's always kool to meet a member from your forum. But in general though, I would refrain from putting any stickers on my car.

+1. I like stikers on the back window in a corner. But they have to reprosent something or they and just be funny, like this. "No Fat cheaks the car will skrape." =)

I have 4 VSC stickers on the car .. I was going to the uber sleek clean look but ehh I like to rock the Cl on the side rear ..

Vsc on front left rear right and lips x2 and a Jp on the front wind shield ...

Huge Jdm Theory banner at shows .. and the other sponcer j-stuff on the car x2

Ohh and a HIN hahaa Need to take that one off ... out of place ..

On the air tanks A jp in gold .. and the pxracing one

I have like 12 on the car total .. damn ... will have 11 by the end of day thou

If done tastefully, custom made, only supporting product you are currently rocking, or sponsors. I personally am not a fan of rockin stickers I'm not paid to rock.

To me, I say no to stickers period on vipcars, even sponsor ones. Sponsor stickers make vip car owners look like they can't afford to pay full price for their parts, and this is supposed to be a vip car? I don't mind paying more to continue to not feel obliged to rock a sponsor/shop sticker just to save a few dollars, I'd rather have clean looking, stickerless windows.

Yep, thats one of my favourite parts of your car racinstylez... the complete lack of sponsor stickers - gives it a superclean look IMO

ya to me, too many stickers takes away from the car. Let your car/paint do the talking, NOT YOUR STICKERS!

stickers are to cover the bad paint spots :)

I have been saying this for ages. Why let a tire company get credit for all the time and money you put into your car?

+1 Only sticker I could see would be a small meaningful one in either corner of the front or rear window and possibly a sticker on the rear windows with a big emphasis on small

i been saying that to a certain someone, i aint gonna say any names...but they know who they are...i hope they see the light. letting other ppl get all the credit when you put all YOUR time, YOUR money, YOUR blood, YOUR sweat and YOUR tears into YOUR money pit, just for someone else to have it in their booth to save you a few bucks is just not worth it. free tires arent worth it, discounted parts aint worth it. its just not worth it to me.

VipDout

Hmm who gets discount tires ? hmm

anywho .. I understand .. + this shouldn't have been moved to vip101 its a normal topic .. IMO

well, i mean shit, you put all this time and work into your car, and you DONT want people to drool over it? a FAST way to do that, is stickers for companies that promote yoru car in web, print, film etc etc

its all part of the game.
BUT im a car *****, i like my cars to be known, and my cedric is known on like everyforum ive seen, so it did the job

I'd agree, I'd only want to put sponsor stickers up. Any other sticker would take away the beauty of the car.
