This has to be the best looking kit for the new IS so far.

I really like those wheels.

But it seems like the newer IS is going to be accepted in the VIP crowd.

Good point. I think it is going to be accepted in the VIP crowd because it is purely a Lexus, and it looks much sharper, sophisticated, and mature than its predecessor, the IS/ Toyota Altezza. It seems like the second gen Intelligent Sport is aimed even more to the sports luxury crowd, as apposed to the previous gen, which looks more like a tuner friendly Toyota than a Lexus. Even though we all know that Toyota is the parent company, the two brands are distinctly different, and with Lexus now being sold as Lexus in Japan, I hope to see a lot more of these VIP IS's in the future. Great pic! :smitten:

I will buy the fact that the car is hot...very hot at that, but it doesn't strike me as a flagship sedan. The IS350, especially with the wald work, looks to me like another GT sedan/M3 competitor. I am not trying to rain on anyone's parade, but it is just similar to the chaser/mark's in japan. I think they will be commonly VIP styled, but I don't see them being accepted into the VIPclubs.

Isnt that the target market for the IS in the first place anyways? To beat the 3 series BMW? This might fall under the same category of the Infiniti G35 sedan...not quite VIP but not quite sport sedan.

Im definitely feeling the kit not too sure on the fenders though. The wheels are super nice as well.

I would like to see a stock bodied IS with the same stance and wheels, I think it would look better but I still thinks its a pretty hot ride. Im just not feeling the fenders.

Thats nice....

I like the rims but do you guys think if it was on ...... say a 300C ... do you guys think it would look cheap.. cuz i feel those rims are nice just cuz they are on a Jap car.... normally i like fuller wheels.. but on other cars or on street doesnt look at good

Not feeling it :P The front is too aggressive for my tastes.

that kit does NOT flow at all with the car and the fenders are butt ugly as well. i do like the wheels though.

I love the kit and the wheels ALOT, but i do agree with everyone else that the fenders need to go. Dammit, this makes me want to get a new IS

I love how the car just looks like tense bundle of energy, great looking kit, but I share everyone's feelings with the fenders
