There's a galant round there that's running Kranze Bazzeria with DISH to play.
Nice car and wheels. BBS right?

you can do a lot with the galant. good start with the vrg front. you can put the vrg front lip on, some vr4 sides and rear, then slam it on some agressive wheels.
heres some inspiration

Boo Oklahoma State- Go Aggies.
:smiley-rofl:
Off to a nice start. Nice BBS wheels. I am sure you already know- but in the event that you want to stick with those wheels- there are companies that make aftermarket barrels for BBS... I am not sure if they would work for your wheel, but I know alot of the VW guys take that route.

I Miss my Galant. If you really want to do some cool things to it you gotta search around online. When I had mine everybody I went to local told me I couldnt do much with the wheels do to the offset and such but once that B**** cut us off and killed it on us I found out that you can do a hell a lot of things with it.
Drop it and do the lip sides and rear and you have a nice ride as it is.
I just seen one yesterday a the car wash. It was the gen after that ( im not that fond of the front on them ) but it was pretty sick. Had a remote mount turbo and a pretty sick CF hood. Had cheap wheels and wasnt VIP but besides the wheels it had a nice drop and all around look was prety dope.

Nice G.
1. megan coilovers
2. wide low offset wheels
3. get washers to camber the rear, for every 2 washers is a -1 of camber
3 possibly roll the fenders
all the above will = one heck of a G

ive seen that pic before but i never noticed the fenders, their much wider than mine in the front. my front wheels already stick out a bit, but id like to get a wider set of wheels all together and do my fenders like the car pictured.
and shaneb where do you put the washers because the only place i know of is at the upper control arm mount but that adds camber and doesnt give negative camber.
i would love to have an evo swap and depending on whats going on this summer i may have to take the truck and a crate out to cali :giggity:
the wheels on their now are 19x8.5 with 45mm offset w/ 8mm spacer making them 37. i plan to sell them soon even though i just got them i want to change it up agiain
thanks for all the comments guys ill definantly be using this forum as a resource to help me build this thing up
heres what it used to look like before when i fixed it up for the first time in high school

The washers will go on the bottom part I'll see if I can't get a pic for you, of course depending on the coilovers you go with they have camber adjustment, but like I said I'll try and find a pic.

I need - camber. I wanna see also since they dont make crap for my car period.
Lonestar22, I like the old wheels way beter. If it were to be slamed with some wider wheels it would be damn nice!
The fenders on that Galant must have een rolled and pulled and maybe trimed from what I can see but that may just be the lighting. It has a very nice stance to it!

Crumbs... sorry about that.
This was the Tutorial:
The Kit consists of 8 40mm 10Mx1.25 bolts, 40 10M washers and 8 10M lock washers.
You will need to replace the rear upper control-arm bolts with the longer bolts.
Using the washers to separate the control-arm from the body.
Then just follow the pics from the other link.
Hope This helps.

that tutorial is for adding postive camber, i used it when i had my 18s on and i wanted the tires to last. i thought we were talking about adding negative camber

True the guy is talking about positive camber but for negative camber you would reverse, meaning instead of putting the longer bolt on top it would go on the bottom.
Refer to the pics if you need a visual.

sup lonestar. its Neteru from Galant Forums.
i always thought your G was clean just the way it is. maybe just add some old style vr4 side skirts and rear lip and some 3rd Gen tails(since they are smooth faced surface and blend in good) just tint them black.
anyway,
good seeing a fellow G in the VIP forums..
i haven't been on this site in ages. lol

Shane
you sure about that?
i don't know too much about the Galant's suspension, but it's typically bad joojoo to mount lower control arm like uppers because of shear forces...
The lower control arms typically mount to a small stout Steel or aluminium sub frame while the uppers attach themselves to the unibody.
i don't think the lower mounts are anything like the uppers. if you've got a diagram that'd help

I'm fairly certain the lower is mounted the same way, but I haven't gotten under my G in a while. but I you went with megan or even tein coilovers they have camber adjustments.
Take Care.
