What's up James,

The valley is still within NorCal area, just that it's in the San Joaquin Valley (very little mountains and hills). It's about an hour to an hour and a half away from the Bay Area. Modesto/Riverbank is about 30 miles south of Stockton.

I know some members have been down enough to drive to SLO for meets, SD, Vegas, and really, this is NOTHING compared that.

I KNOW the LS400 gets damned good gas mileage on the highway. I drove to Monterey, around town, and still had 1/3 of a tank when I filled up to go home lol.

From your place, like 45 minutes to an hour.

Don't complain about gas, we ALWAYS drive out to the meets LOL.

Yes, from Dublin (if you look at that map, it even shows the ETA) it's only 1 hour or so.

If you want, I'm sure we can hit up a bar or something, I've quit drinkin though, after last weekend. Ask ShaneC, Kalristo, Jackson, lol, I was TORE UP that day. I wasn't even hung over! Just dehydrated like an elephant in the kalahari desert during the summer.

Reason being, is that the last meet I went to was in UC, the first meet I went to was in UC, the other meet we all went to was in Dublin, the next meet after this one, is in the works of being planned in either Las Vegas or Santa Barbara, some guys have driving from nor-cal to so-cal for a meet, why not have one here. I'm all for different places for meets. If you can't make it out because you think it's too far of a drive, that's fine.

This last meet we just had, I got off work at 2am, was knocked out by 4am, woke up at 7am, got ready and was at the meet by 930ish. Stayed until we all started to leave, and drove another 1.5 hours home. all on 3 hours of sleep.

I'm not even complaining, because aristo93 drove from Santa Barbara for that last meet. It wasn't even a car show or anything haha.

Reason I want to hold the meet here, is to expose this sort of scene to others. That's why I chose to hold it in my area.
