Is there any way to disable the image resizer? I love seeing pics but I hate clicking every single one to view them in full size. The worse part is that it doesn't load any faster, it still has to load the entire picture before resizing it. Can you guys add it as an option in the control panel?

The reason there is an auto resizer is to keep things a consistent size as well as minimize the amount of data on a thread. Even if I wanted to give that option, I would have talk to site coder Brian aka |crash|. I do not plan to change. Sorry bro.

I agree with Mike on this one... there's no reason for it, as it was we had issues with the way, not speed, that the page loaded..... we used to end up having pages that looked like a tetris nightmare hahahahaha

EDIT:
I like auto resizer. I hate it when pictures are all big and outta place, it frustrates me.

That I agree with you there. But until we find another alternative its going to stay. Sorry guys.

other alternative is to have poeple be a little more conscious about what they are posting and resize the images.....

But we love hi res pictures. It's like car porn. Do you like your porn in thumbnails? :P
I guess I just have to deal with it.

...which will make it more tedious for the user. Auto re-size fixes this problem and benefits both of us.

Is it possible to have an option to turn it off in the User CP? That would benefit everybody I think.

the mechanics behind trying to allow users that option, is way more sophisticated and difficult than thought and would probably end up badly for everyone since the outcome might be one f'ed up looking page where you have no option hahahahaha
believe me we are fine and pages load a bit better and faster although it doesn't seem like it!
