Retrofit dash speakers to tweeters mod
I took the factory dash speakers and used a Dremel to cut off the magnet and then install the tweeter in the factory metal bracket. The alpine tweeters had positional mounting cups so I was able to aim the tweeters for best sound. and it still looks like factory... 8)

VIP Lighting using Varad SL200 kit
Well I wanted to do this for a while now because of the night shows and to show off all my suspension mods.*
Varad released a very cool suspension lighting kit but I decided to take it to the next level and do the VIP spot lighting as well. The pic’s below show beginning install, I started with 3 kits now I have 6 kits with a total of 24 LED emitters at 1 watt each. Varad has optional add-on emitters from what I read 4 more can be added to each controller which means I could possibly have 48 of these little suckers. Oh yeah and the very cool thing is that they can be networked together to one remote.
My overall goal is to have a “Rolling on Thunder” look. I was going to use very expensive police style strobes to accomplish this, but thanks to Varad I can get the same result in less cost better install and* to top it of no need for those long undercar lighting sticks that fall off get broken etc.

This last shot of the engine bay was shot with no flash and no external light this pic gives it no justice (need to practice more night photography) it looks really cool like a halo around it.* 8)
Updated photos with some new install pic's after initial install I didn't like all the exposed heat sink and wire so I made a template for the emitter drilled the holes and mounted them from the back side not 100% stealth but a much cleaner looking install. I chose to pop rivet them in for a smoother look. One thing that amazed me is how durable these emitters are I have dropped these things several times with no apparent damage…
The last pic is one of the unfinished rear emitter brackets I made; they mount between the bottom of the rear bumper core and the edge of the bumper lip. I am getting them powder coated and will update with more of the finished pics. This makes 20 emitters I have installed I have 4 more to install and possibly an additional 4 more on the way… woot woot

Here are some more shots the first three are no flash or external light (still suck at night shots), and the last pic is a quick shot of the rear brackets installed. I need to finish cleaning the underneath of the box and get someone to help me get some better night shots and I will post some more pics....

Varad has some very cool LED products, to satisfy all consumers the products are design for a universal fit but Varad IMO assembled them with the modder in mind.
I wanted a smaller and more focused pattern for my interior lighting and decided to mod the housing of the HyperLED Lightbars to better fit my application. Varad made everything easy to disassemble and/or modify on these lightbars.
On the front under-dash lighting I used an aluminum U channel and lexan corner molding strip for a more compact housing.

On the passenger footwell lighting I modified the lightbar housing by using a* Dremel with a fiberglass cutoff wheel and shaved the mounting tabs off. Then I used industrial grade Velcro to mount to the existing seat bracket moldings which fit in between perfectly!!! I then blacked out the top and quarter side to make the install more clean and stealth. I had to use vinyl tape due to time, but will mask off and paint to match the interior black after my last show this year.

OK 4 more months and I got tired of kickin that GDMF sub box around my garage! So thanks to my SE brotha Jeremy helping me on finishing the bondo and sanding that was needed, I may within a week have a completed custom MMF Sub enclosure. Here are some updated pics before sending it off to the upholstery shop...
Thanks again Jeremy for all the time and effort in helping me get this thing finally finished. I will update with more pics after the final install*

For those that have e-mailed me about the wiring for all the LEDS and the car computer here is a qwik photo I took while I was getting ready for CES this week… I have two PAC80 relays by the battery that is controlled by an Ignited kill switch and a RacerBoy* 4 button shift knob that activates my switch source for the LED lights and a pulse switched source to boot up the new Xenarc computer system. I will try and update with more pics and a write up on the new system.

Got Bling? VIP Style
Ok VIP has become the new buzz word, just like Carbon Fiber and JDM has been. But* this quest for a VIP style xB started for me June 7, 2003 the day I got my xB, piece by piece dollar by dollar and month by month (the waiting is the worst part). As I come closer to finishing this “Toy xBox” project I can honestly say it has been worth every cent! I have two more shipments from Japan and with two major shows coming up there will be no sleep or money until after CES.
It’s all about originality, quality and how you represent it! Now that VIP is the hot new buzz word I want to take it to the EXECUTIVE Level!!!*
Garson Deluxe EXECUTIVE curtains with “S-Bling” accents
DAD/Garson Deluxe table with Upgraded “S-Bling” accents (Table to be retrofitted to xB)

Custom Sub/Spare Tire enclosure
OK 4 more months and I got tired of kickin that GDMF sub box around my garage! So thanks to my SE brotha Jeremy helping me on finishing the bondo and sanding that was needed, I may within a week have a completed custom MMF Sub enclosure. Here are some updated pics before sending it off to the upholstery shop...
Thanks again Jeremy for all the time and effort in helping me get this thing finally finished. I will update with more pics after the final install*

Custom accessory power system

Garson “S-Bling” for keyless entry
