you are correct, the leopards were never accepted as a VIP platform. Q45, M45 are your niss/inf options.

Nope, no love. J30s in Japan are like Buicks here. Old guys keep 'em close to stock, often badged as Infinitis.

Of course, it's not impossible to Vipstyle a J30.....

Ive been thinking about a cheap and easy way into VIP and I saw a lowered on rims J30 rollin I-5 today. I was wondering myself why more of them arnt custom.

I see first generation Q45's now for under $5,000. Not sure on the J30's price wise. I would be choosing between the two.

If someone made a coil over kit for the J30 it would be easy to drop down as far as you wanted.... Anyone know if there is such a kit?

Your car looks good by the way!

If you want a cheap and easy way into VIP just look for a really crappy bashed up J30 for like 600 bucks at an auction and put some junkyard fenders off a different colored car on it and roll around with it looking all mismatched with some low offset pick-and-pull enkei mesh wheels and call it VIP

There are cheap and easy ways to do anything. Who you know, what skills you have. A good buy on a car with coils and the right rims could be had for under $10,000. Its a start.... Then you could build from there.

Of course your obviously a comedian who doesnt care if someone digs a J30 or not... but thanks for the 2-bits.
