Ok so i bought this pair of premade LED clusters i found on ebay through another forum. I had them for a while now but i ran them direct to the 12V wires and they started flickering within a few days. So now i added some resistors and they seem to be working fine. I also made a new lense using plexiglass and a dremel since the OE one is fluted and thick as hell. I also used some scrap metal and jb weld i had layin around and made some holders so they will be about .75'' from the lense. anyways heres pics...

Ill take nite shots later on today when it gets darker

On a side note im also working on a LED third brake lamp but im still in the process. It will use 10 4-chip red LEDs and im thinking of putting a clear lense.

I bought the same lights you did for the license plate lights but I haven't tried anything with them yet. Where did you get the resistors?

I used two 50 ohm 1/4 watt resistors in series soldered to the positive wire. then just plug n play.

You can get plug in license plate bulbs, about the same brightness with no modifications from leddomelight.com along with some super bright dome light panels - already pre soldered & plug in install, couldnt be easier. Have them in my FJ Cruiser.
