nice!

i think ditching the roof rack would relly set it off.

Liquorice
06-10-2008, 01:29 PM
Well it`s not a roof rack, it`s rails that`s stock on the car and will leave a bunch of holes in the roof if I remove it. All German wagons come with it from the factory :)

F ditching the rack! I saw get a bigger Thule rack! Looks nice

OG

same difference. it would still look better without it. what i meant by removing it was shaving it. i.e. take it off, weld up the holes, body work it, paint it.

it looks good with it too, but it would look great without it.

I agree but it will be way too much work than I`m willing to do right now, maybe some day :)

Thanks guys :)
It`s been raining for the last few days here so I it`s been kind of hard to wash the car ;)
But I`ll be doing some hardcore detailing shiz within the next few weeks. Time to get that wet look back in the paint.
I wont pull the fenders in the rear, at least not yet because the rear fenders of the Wagon is so damn thick and hard so it`s impossible to do without cracking the paint and having to respray half the car.
The roof rack stays ;) the finish compliments the wheels.

UAS bags over coilovers, I think I`ll get another inch lower in the front if I modify my strut bearing.

Audis come with a 6" notch in the frame from the factory so clearance is no problem with the driveshafts like on the VW`, the problem on the Audi is that the upper control arms hit the wheel wells. But I`m pretty satisfied with how it turned out :)

OG
06-12-2008, 11:11 AM
what coilovers did you use?

I used a new brand from germany, Ingo Noak.
I`ve also got som FK coilovers I might use if I dont like the Ingo Noak ones.

OG
06-12-2008, 05:13 PM
the reason i ask is because i didn't use any kind of upper bearing. it might be wrong but i and my buddy who is real familiar with air suspension (althoough not so much strut systems) felt comfortablke without them. thats assuming the coilvers your using provided top hats and even then its just a suggestion. try at your own risk.

fkn what makes this thing so great is that it IS a wagon.. not just A6 sedan....

ingo noaks making their own suspension? or do they go thru a major suspension company (like how other companies put their name on products made from specialists) ?

Liquorice
07-12-2008, 01:21 PM
Thanks :)

I think Ingo Noak gets their suspension from the same producer as a couple of other german brands.

Here`s a pic a friend of mine took today.

Here`s a couple of shot of them on the new ride from last summer.
