Dang, those look sweet. Looks like the best air cylinders I seen. So this system is universal?

My understanding from the video is that the actual cylinders are universal and just the mounts are made differently for each vehicle which has to be really good for your company. I dont know too much about air suspensions really as I have never seen them be able to be used performance style situations. I look at this as being almost the perfect fix in a way as for those who need to head to the track or somewhere can drive at stock hieght but once you reach your destination you may lower the vehicle to the correct ride height for your need.
How is the compression of these regulated? Like do you set them somehow to allow a certain amount of give? Sorry if its a stupid question im just trying to think if the cylinders are universal there would be a huge difference in ride comfort when used in a LS400 and then same ones used in a Civic correct or do you have a way to set this somehow?

most air cylinders are "universal" for cars that allow it, ie cars w/ double wishbone.
thats awesome to see an bagged fd drifting!! we've been trying to tell people that just because something is bagged doesnt mean u cant drive the shit out of it. good luck w/ the business, parts look quality!

the car was drifting and all, but i didnt see him dump it. thats the only thing that makes it sketchy. i would like to see that im getting a good product if i purchase these at the end of the video, by the drift car dumping his car. it dont seem like he has air. not to put it down, its just what i had observed in the video.
Yes I didnt dump it in the vid exept for the inside shot. Mr. Kumakubo one of the top D1 drifters was driving it. As well it was featured in Drift tengoku. SO if you dont belive it who cares.
I only showed the vid as some had asked as far as puchasing a set they are not for sale to the general public. I stopped sales 1 year ago and only sell and install them on special cars. Not to be arrogant about it I just got tired of the cheep copies and dont need the revinue from them to have a profitable buisness.
As well NOBODY has ever took my challange on the street or track. Alot of people make claims about their systems but not one has stepped up to the challange.
You all should know before there was a Air runner, Air bomber, Air dyne, cobra, Mad hopper, Shock wave, Canover, and any other I was manufacturing and selling up to 80 kits a month. I have sold over 1000 honda oddesey kits allone. DOnt get me wrong I have many friends in the air suspension buisness including Air runner and Canover.
I just didnt make a poor copy of someone elses labor I designed and manufactured these on my own. So I guess to answere any sceptical questions about them you could ask Mr. Kumakubo what he thought about them.
But like I said I really dont care what anyone thinks. I know what I have done and what I can do. Im not out to please the masses with them any more.

Ok, well onto a serious question then, are these adjustable in the slammed position a-la bold world air struts? I noticed you have them on that dinky little kei car, and that has some mad camber/poke with the wheels so i am interested in how it was set up on this car...
It appears that the lowest setting has it perfectly on the fenders; how was this achieved?

Ah, i thought i recognised the name! There is a place in Australia that actually sells Ground Zero kits!
http://www.tubularsuspensionsystems.com/about_gz.htm
They are kinda exy, but i guess you gotta expect that for quality stuff... Kinda out of my league anyway :(
It also says not suitable for Lexus?

The Dunk was built with front struts and rear bags. The front stroke is the stroke in all the cylinders. The rear had to be enjinered to match the front. Becouse its a FWD car I made the rear solid axle into a triangulated 4 link and then built 8 deg of camber into the spindles to get the 15X9j works to tuck into the 20mm over fender. The front is also 20mm over fender and was cut to accept the drop.

Im not VIP but wow these would really help my rig out bigtime. I really need to start looking into some form of air. I will admit I was one of those people who just thought you had a squishy ride that didnt handle but seeing the video and seeing cars rolling the kits changes my ideas big time.

can you please explain how dampening is achieved with these cylinders?
thank you.

Sad to hear this will not be available to the general public :( Competition is always a good thing.
I understand your issues with stolen Intellectual Property.
can you please explain how dampening is achieved with these cylinders?
thank you.
They are dampened with the internal shock. The first series used Tokiko and the final series uses Kei office 8 way ajustables.
I want you all to not worry I have posted in other threads about my new system. It will be for everyone. This will be the next level in suspension and be totaly universal in design. It looks like a ajustable coil over but there is no coil. Infinant amount of spring rate and dampening. Plus it will go up and down using a sweet little pump that is so compact.
Well hell here is a pic of the pump
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y182/DXJP/pump.jpg
This little beast has balls. Power up and power down I used it on my hydrolic powered lambo doors.
You can hide it anywhere in the car.

Im still in the teasting and development stage of this new kit. It will fit virtulay and car. At this time there is no pricing as I have not finnished a cost estimate. Probobly between 3500 and 4000 for this kit.

just wondering how u plan on making this universal for all cars?? your saying these will work on cars w/ a macpherson setup? and wishbone as well? also, it's air, so how are u planning on incorporating a hyrdo pump????

I never said it was air. Or hydrolics. Like I posted above it looks like a coil over with out a coil thats all I can say at this time other than its derived from a military aplication.

Reread the thread, there are two subjects. First is the video showing his air suspension, 2nd is his new product that is not air suspension.
Also the name of the company is: Ground Zero Air Suspensions.
