car is looking very nice, I would perhaps try a little more of a stretch tire, some centercaps and a slam but im liking the black on black thing.

I love Y33's...can't go wrong with black although the rear could be a tad bit lower! can we see pics of the whole front and rear of the car? I want to see some crazy pipes of you got 'em. Also any interior mods?

Thanks the centercaps are on in the second to last picture, I had to go out and buy different lugs and locks for them to fit. Right now it's lowered using TEINS, I'm saving up fir air in the future.
FormulaRX- I just added a front pic. There's no interior mods just yet, I'm working on it and an exhaust system. The next thing I plan on doing is the mirror covers and xenon foglights

Sweeet keep it up loooks good. I think a smaller sidewalled stretched tire will make a big diffeence in appearence. other than that your on track..what offset are your wheels?
I like the front looks...very nice.
black is nice.
thats a whole lotta rubber you got there....
maybe some spacers when you get that airrr :)

I am assuming you've got JDM headlights?
Your assumption would be correct. Ever since I bought my car back in Oct. of last year I wanted the 99 headlights but had no luck. Then one morning I looked on ebay and to my amazement they had the Cima kouki headlights. They actually were halogen, but I changed them over to xenons.

Thanks man, yeah on my quest for a right size tire i didn't come across much help but am pleased so far with the sizes I have. They wheels are SSR Viennas 18x8+29 & 18x9+37. I know I know, it has a weak offset, but at the time I bought these I hadn't seen the ones on memoryfab.com> I wish I would've waited but such is life. The tires are Falken FK 452's 245/45/18 & 275/40/18
sweet ride, love the black on black theme
I'm actually surprised people on here like the black on black them. I thought it was a no-no to run color matched wheel :2funny:

I like the black on black but here is a similar style wheel (bigger with more aggresive offset) that does set the car off a little bit more IMO

245 and 275 on a 8 and 9? That's a whole lot of tire for the wheels, I would also think that's a lot of car for the wheels. Maybe some 9.5 and 10.5 with 235 and 265. You have a VIPcar so why are you just trying to be "VIP inspired"?

I agree with you the wheels do need to be bigger with an better offset. But as of now this is what I have. Like I previously stated I wanted the ones on memoryfab.com, but saw them a month later on their site after I already paid for mine, oh well.

Reason I said VIP inspired was b/c I didn't feel like saying here's my VIP car and everyone jump down my throat saying no it's not, it's not low enough, your wheel offset is too weak. You know the kind of stuff that I read about other people's car. Not that I personally care, but just decided against going down that road.

Oh okay, I didn't know that Nissan Cima/Q45 = VIPride, I thought it was one of the building blocks, but if you guys say so. Butl I do remember a previous post by V8_Aristo about someone who had pics of their car lowered and said it looked nice but wasn't VIPstyled. But then again, I now can figure out what he meant ;D

Notice that Cima also just has stock body panels and nothing extraneous on it... just stance and wheel fitment makes all the difference in the world. With that said, I think it would behoove you to save up for the items you REALLY want/need to achieve a certain look vs. buying onesies twosies pieces here and there and never being able to get the stuff that really makes a different till way later. A lot of times, by the time people can save up enough to buy something like nice wheels or air susp cuz they keep getting sidetracked getting little emblems or badges or lights or doodads, they might lose interest in the car completely. Like with the wheels... if you KNEW ahead of time that the fitment wasn't exactly to your liking, you really should have waited. Yes, too late now, but it's a lesson learned. You can always sell off the wheels when you find something you like better... just make sure it's something you REALLY WANT. As for the susp... if you know you want to get air susp, save the $$ on the lights and other knickknacks and apply it towards the air. You can see from the Cima that the stance and wheel fitment are all it really has, yet it's unlike most anything seen in the US. And if YOU like that look, then it's not that hard for you to achieve the same look... you just gotta approach it correctly...

Thanks, you're absolutely right. With the wheels I should've waited. Granted I like how my set up looks now, I also know by having them on my car, that I want the same wheels just bigger, wider and with more lip, but you said it best it's a lesson learned. I'll be the first to admit before I bought my car back in October, I never heard of VIP. It wasn't until after doing research into things I could mod on my car that I came across VIPstyle. I get what you're saying about the suspension and not buying little doodads and knickknacks, but the things that I have purchased already are things I REALLY WANTED and have helped me achieve the look I was looking for thus far. With everything you have to have a plan, and at this point IMO my plan is working fine. I'm actually proud of the progress I've made in such a short time. I didn't start modding my car until Feb. The only thing that I plan on buying before fully saving for air are mirror covers, I already have the xenon kit for the fogs. All in all I appreciate your advise, you're a moderator for a reason, and I'm pretty sure you'll get sick of me picking your brain for info in the future. In the meantime, you have PM

Sorry to bring this topic back up and this is a little off topic but does anyone know anything about these wheels? They almost look like the Work Euroline wheels but I don't want to assume anything because we all know what that does.
