hi guys, thanks for the kind comments. i'm planning on a full colour change to black, i run my own bodyshop so the temptation to go a little nuts is always a problem =). also toying with the idea of maybe organic green kandy, over a real dark base it would appear black until bright sunlight gets on it. still undecided with rims, any ideas?

i agree =), they do look great dropped,
got the glass tinted and popped on some clear side markers, going to convert the corners to clear as the amber inner lens looks nasty.

had a play with the air and got it to pick up a rear wheel lol, still on the hunt for rims:pat:

=) i tried to standing 3 wheel the front but its just a bit too heavy. i could probably power 3wheel but i reckon it would most likely end in a crash:pat:
need to concentrate more on cutting the front srut tops to get it lower really=) it was a laugh though.

You should think about keeping that color it's not a comon color you see. I think that color would look clean as hell with the right kit and wheels.

thanks for the comments, its good to get some input on the project from here.
maybe i'll get the rims sorted out and see how the car looks then.
i've been looking at a set of euroline DH, 19x10 +21 fronts and 19x11.5 +17 rears, what do you think?

got the corners cleared today, not a nice job! had read up about how to do it on various sites but didnt like the idea of heating the lamps up to separate the lense. so, bought a spare lamp to practice on (lucky because the first attempt did not go well:pat:)
still, got there in the end,

thanks!
main priority is wheels, i need them before i start the bodywork. not sure on a bodykit yet im aiming to get the car as low as possible first.
got my eye on a set of cystal rear lamps, then just some interior mods and audio. as with any project they kind of evolve as they go dont they =)

nice car! that color actually looks pretty nice. don't really see too many of those driving around here. i was thinking about doing my setup in the spare compartment also, but i think i may need to use my spare one day.

its not a problem losing the spare wheel well, for my daily commute i carry a can of tyre weld just in case. and for longer trips i have a jdm supra space saver that fits in the trunk easy:biggthumpup:

thanks guys, really happy with the look of the car, just got to tweak the drop a bit more.
Wheel specs are (correct me if i'm wrong Ron)
front 9x19 +15
rear 10x19 +15
wheels cleared the brakes no trouble and only needed minor rear arch rolling with my trusty hammer =) fronts will need a bit of a pull when it goes down more.
Ron, cant really get a fatter tyre on the rear as inner arch clearance on drop is tight, plus it looks great as it is, wheels poke nicely when lifted too
