ok so im so wishy-washy i cant decide what to do with my fenders. i have some styleking fender flares i was going to use on my van but i also like the pulled look as well.im pretty sure with my wheels i would have no problem pulling the fenders to accommodate them. heres the pics:
this is my van with the flares:

heres my van with out:

heres a van with the pulled look i like:

and a one with the flares finished:

so whats you opinions?

i like the pulled look. the flare sticks out too much for my taste.

to me that black van has a classy look.

Pulled, if they can turn out like that... But are you sure you will get such a smooth OEM look with a pull? That might actually be just a subtle widebody or something...

Another vote for pulled fenders. I think it's worth the extra work!

I agree with Dominik. That looks like a lot of pull especially in the front. Your best be might be to use the flares and have your bodyguy smooth them out with the body.

One thing I notice when looking at the pics again is that the gas filler door is not in the same place. The JDM one has the door next to the taillight just under the sliding door rail, while yours has it just in front of the rear wheel arch. If you pull it a lot, I think you may encounter some difficulty near that area.

I would say a fender pull looks much cleaner, provided that it is not a drastic one. The flares end up looking smoother in my opinion on real aggressive, or wide pulls. Anything wider than what is on the black van I think a flare would look better.

On your van I think a pull would look far better, it simply blends better.

Good luck either way, that black van espcially is TRICK!! :o

maybe if the flared one was painted and molded so its flushed with the body, then it would probably look good too.

but, between those two pictures the fender pulled one looks better.

how hard is it to do the fender pull?

I guess it depends on what bodykit you will be using and the shape or conture of the vehicle. Some look good with flares while some don't.

A fender flare or "pull" like that shown on the black estima is going to be quite a chore to achieve... and ESPECIALLY on the rear of the previa/estima

Go with the pull. Over fenders only look good on certain cars...the shape must work with it. On a van it doesn't work too well unless they are molded in with the body countour. The lines are too flat, there really isn't a "fender".

very nice. i could be wrong, but on the first page where the fenders are pulled are they more aggressive(stick out more?) than the flared ones? maybe its the size of the picture.

i like the pulled ones on the first page though. the wideness of the fender pull just compliments the whole van really well

like what everybody was saying, pull that thing and see how it turns out. if its not smooth the way u want it, slap on the flare and mold it. ;D. either way hope it turns out the way you like it

The flares molded do look nice but Im still gonna say the pull is cleaner so pull is my vote.
