well i like the rear work the most. the BLACK paint is reallly smooth which equals excellent body work skills. nice overall but the molded ''top gun'' front? not me

That car has been on the IS scene awhile. I think I saw it a few years ago at a show in Houston. If the bumper is a Top Gun, that's one of the lowest bumpers available for the 1st gen IS even without a drop.

callaghan.

bag it and itd be off the hook. the wheel gap in the front is killing it, makes the wheels look sucked in and makes it look ass heavy. but the widebody is badass

That might be the problem. Kit is so low the owner can't lower it more with destroying the kit, but that leaves massive wheel gap?
Air would help for shows, but I think the best solution is air+bigger wheels

Exactly...it's like whats the point? And yes, in this case the wideness is TOO over the top and doesn't flow well with the car in my opinion. I still want to see that inner door area in the back though to see to what extent the took it.

well he never drives it. it just sit in his garage like i said. the suspension is still the same,i mean the inspection tags have been exspired since iv been knowing him. thats why he hasnt did anything to the suspension or flush the rims to the fender. like i said he dont drive it, he has his other cars to worry about. you know the cars that take him to work, it just a show car at that. but i know for sure thats what he wants to lower it and flush the rims but no tellin when that will be. some people like it some dont thats with every car i think.

I honestly have to say, I just don't get it.

He buys a car, spends a shit load of money on it, stops before he's done, and doesn't even drive it.

Why did he buy a car?

Amen. It's a show car, that doesn't have to worry about driving...go as agressive as physically possible on fitment and ride height.

Oh yes, I definently agree. It's kinda of a no brainer. I mean even if the body work doesn't even compliment the IS300, better fitting wheels should compliment the body work. In otherwords, it'll make a day and night difference. Right now (although the body work is clean), it kinda just looks like a widebody civic with an Altezza conversion. That's a tragedy in itself.

Perhaps his friend - who owns that IS300 - should see what we have to say. Either good or bad, it's constructive.

as for shops outside of california we are one of the top tein dealers across america and in texas alone...
hun an myself have meet with the owner of tein. he personally came down from his visit to california and the states to see who and what our shops is like since like i mentioned we are one of the top dealers outside of CA.
as for them taking us places is true once a car is with such a major company like this its a stepping stone for the car.
and if the tein wants to paint it white and green THEN WHY NOT... ITS A GOOD OPERTUNITY...

NO ITS NOT A TRACK CAR... like i mentioned just upabove then owner already knows of us and has met with us and we also have an inside connection so that the sponsorship is in good standing...

Don't worry I didn't mean to offend. It's just that, I tried to read your response, but couldn't understand your broken Engrish.

But with all kidding aside.. I don't understand what "being sponsored by Tein" has to do with our comments regarding your wheel fitment and body work. :uglystupid2:

I thought TEINs were known for only offering 1-2" drop at the lowest setting?

Not sure whether your goal was to impress VIP stylers or drift/racer kids so that would make a big difference as to how you would take our comments. On this forum we all like the 'pushed to the limits' look, so that would be car on the ground, wheels poking out with max camber and widebody as necessary to cover the tops of the wheels.

Would love to see how the widebody was done though. Looks to be done very cleanly

i wasnt trying to impress vip. i just posted it just to show ya my friends car. people say well if its a show car why doesnt he finish it bla bla bla. first of all he's always out of town,he manages the shop here in houston and sometimes goes to cali for the other. like i said he doesnt touch the car all that much anymore. but people tend to forget..hey but i understand everyone has their 2 cents...believe me i know eveyone like the wheels poking out and riding on the very edge of the inside of the tire, havin alot of camber, slammed to the ground i love that too.but i know for sure he's coming back around to finish what he started.
