Ok here is my 2005 Scion tC. I know that the tC is not sold in Japan, as you see my tC don’t fit with the other tC style.
I like the VIP style. What can I do to get more attention in Car Show? Here are some pic’s
Interior: SAT Radio, Scion Upgrade: 6 CD Changer, LED Light Enhancement, Auto Dimming Mirror, OBX Racing pedal and OBX Circular Shift Knob
Exterior: Luminics JDM Yellow High Beam and Ultra White Low Beam, Color Azure Pearl, Scion Upgrade: Ground Effects Kit, Rear Lip Spoiler and CF Door piller
Engine: HKS Hi-Power, CF Engine Cover, AEM Battery Tie-down, TRD Chrome billet cap, Hotchkis Front Strut bar and Fuijta Cold Air Intake
Suspension: ALT Wheels Phinn 19" x 8.5" (AT-334), Mega Racing Coilover
Sponsors: ALT Wheel, WIN Motorsport, Luminics
Future Plans: Change the Interior of my tC ???

I remember seeing a few pictures of a Tc rolling on Euroline DH wheels. Getting attention at car shows is tricky...it depends on the judge and what is "in" at that moment. Having your car influenced by VIP style will definately get some attention because the style is picking up its speed in US. First things first, you need to do something about your ride heigth, and then you can begin to work on the wheel fittment or changing your wheels alltogether. Afterwards you can make a decision on aero you want to use on the car. Going with fully custom bumbers will definately set your car apart.

hey man nice tc there,
just wanna give some suggestions, not sure if the rest would agree but here they r, IMO i think u should change the color of the car, black or white would be perfect for VIP car theme, vip style rims fitment definitely plays an important role as well, get those really wide rims and camber them. the next i think would the bodykit, avoid extreme styling bodykits and go for more subtle and yet looks like its about to touch the ground. mufflers r also v important. get rid of that cannon style mufflers and go for quad exhaust system with shiny blingin tips 8)
well thats all from me, hope it helps

better wheel fittment and lower suspension. Your car is very conservative right now and thats not going to turn heads. Amaze people by making a wheel fit that most say wont, then lower the car down so you get the tsurachi look and you will be in business.

Its not really going to help him by having ALT wheels as his sponsor as they dont offer anything close to the style.
Just look at what others have suggested and do what you like.

I think you can work off the wheels you have right now, if you go as low as possible, then space the wheels out as close to the fender as possible. Some camber would set it apart from the other tCs as well.
Try a body colour eyelid?

Hmmm, ya know... even if you kept the existing fin wheels... if you spaced them out an additional 1", swapped on 215 width tires, and cambered the car an additional 2deg all around, and rolled the fenders and lowered the car another 1 to 1.25"... NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE. All in a day's worth of work, and for not much more $$.

i would def go w/ airride. it changes a car more than anything i feel. i've hated cars, bagged them, then fallen in love w/ how they look haha. like someone said, if u bag it an space the wheels alittle you could easily pull off those wheels. some type of new lip kit would be good too.

i would say more aggresive wheels. my girl has the 06 azure pearl tC and we have a set of 19x8.5 +35 going all around one I can get someone to stretch a 215/35 on it... guess buying the tires helps too..

So what are good sizes and offsets are good for the tc?

a more squared off lip kit would do the trick. Like the Diana style from Japan. That would be so cool. deep sideskirts and door panels and some killer bumpers. Oh wait, I better wake up cuz everyone is making rice kits for this car.

My wheels are 19 x 8.5 x 39 offset. You can put 19 x 9.5 x 40 offset in the back with some modf.

i'd go for clean jdm theme.
a list i would toss on:
wind deflector turbo kit neon lights engine wire tuck darkest eggot paint job fridge carputer SPL clean rear half setup (removed rearseat) chop top off about 2" inches. air suspension
