As jbo already knows..I'm alive and well in the STL. Just getting settled into the new house and the new surroundings. So far so good. The people are actually way more friendly than I expected, not that I expected it to be bad, but coming from Hawaii you'd think it would be a huge difference. The only real difference so far has just been the weather..haha. I bought some thermal jammi's tonight...hahaha!

Good luck Brotha.... again, get some Red Hot Ripletts, some Hot Cheese Corn, check out U city, if you have kids, take them to the City Museum (go for yourself.. still a unique experience). Try Imo's pizza... Don't worry, it's cold, but not nearly as cold as most places.... the winters are usually pretty mild in comparison... Oh Yeah, there's a Six Flags prob about 40 mins or less from whereever you are look it up... And Fireworks are legal and sold everywhere (at least they used to be).... Have fun and good luck, and when I breeze through there, expect some company (Have plenty of food..I'm Hungry).... there's more to be had.... that's just a start....
P.S Stay away from Brooklyn on the East side. (there's nothing but Trouble there!!!:giggity:)
elpresidente is in the building...whatup kid I definitely warned you about the weather and I know your loving the gas prices we definitely got to hookup soon theres all kinds of cool places actually all over town I gotta take you downtown bunch of cool stuff to do down there I'll call you in a while when I think your up I know your still on HI time and probably staying up pretty late but it'll all sink in hollar at you later...

Thanks guys! jbo and I already touched base. I drove freakin 260 miles (just outside Chicago) just to go to Ikea to get our new bedroom furniture...haha. I don't see why we couldn't jet up there for HIN..when is that anyhow? There was frost on the windshield of the Benz yesterday morning. I need to finish unpacking all these damned boxes! One of the garage spots contains 3 pallets of boxes 70" high each. I am about ready to throw them all in the basement...wow, a basement, haven't seen one of these in 15 years..hahaha.

Yep, that's the one we hit up. I wanted to buy the place out. So many ideas. Some of the stuff we got I fabbed up custom like to match my new TV and what not. We didn't have Ikea in Hawaii and that one was the closest one to here. I had no idea you lived up that way..haha. I just knew you lived in the Mid-West and that's about it.
And jbo...sounds like a plan man!

And yes, there is no Auto Couture front aero on it..in case you didn't read the Dependable Auto Shippers my ass thread.
Aww its the first snow for these 2 and yeah dont even talk about that I never asked you what they said about the estimate...

Actually, it's called radiused fenders. If you take note to how low the Jag is "up high" in comparison to the Benz. Haha..in due time I'll get some good shots of the car. But in the meantime, I have a lot of work to do on it. Once the replacement parts come in, we'll get some paint on it and work on the interior and further suspension work. Till then...riding high (the upper inner fenders need to be hammered up flat so they won't rub after the radius. Ask jbo, he can tell you from experience...I can't lput it in the weeds till I sort that out.

My fault I didn't take notice to how much lower the jag was sitting than the benz, I just assumed you were on air. Ah well :pat:

what i love about that picture is the fact that your neighbors all seem to drive trucks.
elpresidente
12-08-2008, 02:19 PM
Haha...that's pretty true, although the neighbor on the other side has a W220...and an SUV. But yah, lots of trucks here, but I spy luxury cars in their garage's when I see them open. Must just be the seasonal thing.

pics??
elpresidente
12-12-2008, 10:19 AM
Not much to see other than the fact that I have a stock looking front bumper that has sections of it trimmed to make the Auto Couture half bumper fit the way I wanted it too (tucked in tighter..personal preference)..and the bolt holes that remain on the inner fender well area where it was attached.
