I was just wondering can my altima be jugded as vip or not. I have the 3.5 and from what I use to drive, to me it feels high class. Many will not think the same, but coming out of a 2001 cavailer with a bodykit, spoiler and 17"in rims is a hole new world for me. When I seen vip style around the time I got the new car I knew thats what i wanted to do. Thanks if anyone post back

I have a 3.5 03 Altima too and im trying to turn it into a vip car too.. I bought this car cuz i know it can be done but just need more resources if you know what i mean.... I have 20s and slammed with Sportline with another coil cut on the front... Yet still do not feel its low enough so i'd suggest either get tien coilovers or airbags.. Also im planning to roll my fenders and get wider rims... hopefully this can all be achieved in one years time..
There is a very nice ERACING body for it... slightly more aggressive then your typical VIP kits but cuz there isnt much, its the the best source.. IMO...
what do you got for your car?

In my opinion it won't be a VIP car, but it most certainly can be made to be VIP style.

If your talking like HIN being judged.... you dont have an expensive car so it wouldnt do good.
Or
If you mean us on here being the Judge go for it VIPstyle................ enjoy your ride!!

Thanks you guys, other site would have hated or bashed on my thoughts or idea's. The only thing I have for my car at this point is carbon fiber eyelids and 3000k yellow fog light bulbs. Everyone thinks it's
pimp because of the frost gray color and factor sliver 17"in rims. In chicago only a hand full of people know about vip cars or vip style in way thats good in my point. Where I'm from all people care about is big wheels, tv, and lambo doors. I never felt the need for that and I was always the outcast of everyone. I was always with the tuner scene, and now that I'am moving on with something not to well known it's crazy. Now all the little bangers out there want to street race and it's so old and tired and thats one reason why I gave up my cavalier. But with this new dream I found and new style, it's like going from boy to man and thats cool! DRifting, time attacks, vipstyle it's all cool to me I like them. :coolsmiley:

Good attitude. I think the most important part is to not forget what your car is, and tune appropriately, no matter what style you choose, and not cut corners in an effort to bandwagon - it's better to have a few well done mods, than a lot of shit ;)

keep at it dude...
Hopefully we can show that the altima can be VIP car...
tho its not the most expensive car, its how you do it. If a Xb or a Previa or the black accord thats on the other thread can be, so can an altima. Just may take more resource...

But don't forget, your car won't be a vip car, but vip styled, thers a difference. But still, I say go for it, Id bet an altima would good on the floor with big wheels. They have a nice body style.

screw the little things. save up get air suspension, get aggressive wheels, slam it on wheels that confuse people and you will be ahead of the game.

Where do you live in chicago? I have two friends with altima's, not VIP but theyre ok. Not much vip for that car. You can get some rims and drop it, and get a new grill, but most body kits out for the altima are not vip, they are more sporty.

thank guys, well I can't do any thing right now. Im a little short on cash so I'll have to wait, but I won't let that stop me. By the time I am ready there should be more kits out by that time and Ill be ready for it. :knuppel2: ;D :coolsmiley:

I think many cars can be made to be VIP styled. what is considered as a real VIP car is up in the air, but to me, VIP is a concept... course you cant vip an EG civic hatchback.
the alty and maxy are good platforms in my opinion.

::) so its expensive vs inexpensive now?
anyways... do what you want! if you want to vipstyle it then go for it.... I think that car has alot of aesthetic potential.

If being expensive makes a VIP car then i dont understand why a honda fit, Toyota Previa, Honda accord, or even a bmw 3 series can be since my altima 3.5 SE cost the same and in some cases even more then these car. I agree with F31Roger that its just a concept on how you do your car. Think even that acura RSX with the D2 wheels can be vip and it looks sweet. Maybe its more about the classiness, simple, clean, tasteful that makes a VIP car.
I love my altima and hope to give it more of a VIP feel, just make sure you got the stance, wheels, and a lil bling to make it that.

I know in Japan mostly lux cars are vip'd... and the common idea of all are 4 doors (which most are) or rwd (not true if you look out side toyota and nissan).
If your car looks clean and you make it look the way you want with the "vip" rims, you'll get the concept. I love the new altima.
IMO, VIP style is concept, but its also perspective.. many people see the new alitima as a sporty car (which it is) so making it a nice vip cruiser isnt on the mind of most people.
I say be the first!!!!

Simple clean classy is probably EXC if I am assuming the correct image you are talking about.... The cool thing about VIP is that it can look down right chauvinistic and still have an expensive pimp factor. I wouldn't consider that simple and clean.

I think they have potential..just depends on how you build it. I made this quick to show it could be done:

HEY now thats what im talking about.. good job... that eracing kit looks so nice... but still looks a bit too sporty.... hm.. not sure but looks like sth is missing...cant exactly pin point it... i think its the grille... and maybe try a black out... is there a way to incorporate the lexus LS grille or the toyota crown grille on it?

Well, it's the only aero for it that looks half decent or even remoteley VIP-like. As far as grills...they lay differently. So not sure if that would work. The parts for it are so limited..I just chose what I know is available to make the PS.

so does everyone think that the newer cars look way to sporty?
some of the older vip cars are boxy looking, compared to how some cars are very smooth. I think this is what gives off a sporty feel is the aerodynamics of the car.
ailtima build FTW!

i guess you could call it that, because of its areodynamics like you said. Although not all of them look sporty to me, like the LS430, its still somewhat the same shape as it used to be. Personally im a big fan of the older school VIP cars. New ones are sick of course, but Older ones paved the way for the newage... thats how i see it.
