the big ones are not planets though...they are stars...and I think Beeltejuice or whatever its called is a dead star. But they are a part of our galaxy.

I remember in my astronomy class they were mentioning something about other planets...but they are too far to tell. But will let you know more once I'm in the "Planets" course this upcoming quarter :)

they have found "planet X" which is another celestial body about 97AU away from the earth but that has not been considered a planet. oh its a lot bigger than pluto as well.

In my science class in this video they said that there were more planets billions of years ago, but I think they collided with other planets and that left us with the ones we have now.

they could call it pluto or puto, or culo, or whatever they want.....the fact is we still have absolutely no clue where it all came from, where we all came from, and how we all got here.

everything is as big a mystery as it was 2000 years ago.

they could call it the galaxy, the solar system, etc. Their guess is as good as mine. We still have absolutely no clue why we are here.

It really makes you think that we are all really nothing, those stars will outlast all of us and it's pretty sad to think that there really is nothing else out there with-in reach of us. BUT WHILE IM HERE IM GOING TO AGREE WITH FIRELIZARD AND ROCK THE VIP WORLD!!!!! Maybe not in a Protege but yeah it's looks like a hell of a ride!!!!!!!! :coolsmiley:

actually if you look at a lot of the modern scientific theory they do a good job of trying to explain all of that... check out the big bang theory sometime it will blow your mind.

it's all theory and imagination. Is that the absolute truth ? nobody knows. Heck even I can think of a theory that totally makes sense.

and the end of the day, their theory is as good as anyones.

That is true huh, before the big bang alot of the galxies were close together...but what was before that? it just keeps on going.probably in future, one random person will make a time machine and solve all these question we have.
