ok cause i was reading over on club lexus (lol yea, go ahead and laugh) and some dude posted this:

The original brand is called Traffic Star made by Riverside Co in Japan. The same wheels are imported to US by Dazz Motorsports under the name " Maya" which is a brand Dazz Motorsports made just like RH Pros or RH Evo.

Just because its Maya wheels does not mean they are all manufactured by Riverside Co. Some Maya wheels are manufactured by different company. Another example is RH pro wheels which is another Dazz brand but the wheels are made by Enkie.

There are no such brand called Maya or even RH Pro in Japan. They are a brand that Dazz made.

Dazz Motorsports is known to subcontracts wheels manufacturer to make wheels for them under their own brand like Maya.

Hope this help.

and someone else posted:

Ok so wait...

The Trafficstar lips are anodized while the MAYA are Chrome and Polish?
Now im lost haahahaha....
And when they Say polished Rims...are the center pieces ( not caps ) Polished or just silver. i seen some sets on GS's and they didnt looked polished to me but they only come in 3 styles. CHROME, POLISH and BLACK

and the last one:

Just because a wheels are branded "Maya" does not mean they are all made by Trafficstar (Riverside). I am pretty sure some of Maya wheels are manufactured by different company. As for Chrome and Polish, Dazz can request Riverside to make wheels to there spec so its is possible that Maya RT5 maybe chrome lip but Trafficstar maybe polished. I personally thought they were all polished.

One more thing, there is a chance that some of new Maya wheels/designs, especially on their new ones may be manufactured by Enkie.

The Trafficstars are produced by some of the other main wheel manufacturers in japan also... i.e. work, SSR, etc.
