Why not? Hahaha, picked up a pair of brand new ones. Checking clearance to get the brackets made... and they fit! You guys think I should take off the tint once the seats are bolted in?

Hahaha...why? Lets block that vision even more..yah, great idea! I mean, I guess if its' a show car (or being built for weekend racing duty?), then cool..but definitely not for daily...

Im glad you didn't get the bootleg Recardo seats. Yes remove the tint so people can envy your baller neck brace =)

I say tint it over with a lighter shade. So Cal sun kills the seats with all its UV. Id hate to see nice seats get beat up by the sun =(. Car is looking sick BTW!

agree...I've seen too many seats ruined by the sun. I would actually leave the tint to save the seats from damage. If this car is always under shade or garage or just plain old show car then yeah lose the tint. Maybe even go green tint.

Thanks guys. I didn't take under consideration the socal sun. Is there a type of tint that is still clear'ish yet blocks UV? I think i remember seeing that type last time at the tint shop

it might not just be the UV damaging it... Can you even see your blind spot with that chair? Reminds me of those things they put on horses.

check out huber optik - i think they have a version that's more or less invisible, but rejects 99% UV.

Huper Optik is baller. It's like $500-600.
