Hey everyone, I am new to the idea of bags...I get how they work the whole 9. My question is, however, how do they ride? I mean what is the equivolent with springs? Do they ride like eibachs or softer? Or maybe some high end coilovers. I ask because when I get another car of course I am going to look into bags...I just dont know if I should. I love to hit the canyons and I want to know if these would be good for a canyon run or two or should I use something stronger. Thanx for the help in advance

----ive had my airrunners now for about 2 years and NOOOO problems. No leaks. AirRunners also lets you adjust your ride from soft to hard. ....btw. it would be hard to customize a mazda Millenia because it has poor aftermarket support. Check out the vip galllery and read up on the history of VIP. Hope it will help you in choosing a better chassis.

i love the way the millenia looks. but i do think you might have trouble finding styling parts. i have no idea if 929 parts or japan had the car either.

millenia is definately an elegant car to be driving, but you will face challenges as many other members said. a lot of customizing and fabricating.

but none the less it is a very nice car to build and definately a step out of the box.

btw, may i ask how much they are going for nowadays. i use to want one back when i was 12. haha

You know who to talk to on JDM parts. The 929 and Millenia are similar, and there was a Japanese sold millenia, so its for sure that someone made something for it. And yea, the airride suspension performs great, and rides beautifully.

Here is a duraflex body kit.

I suggest you do a forum search or browse the Wheels/Suspension section for info before making you're decision. I have one particular brand and its Air Runner.

Thanks for the info guys. I am liking the idea of a challenge. I will probably still go with the millenia...as long as I can find an air system to suit my needs. Wheels...not a problem, no real engine performance support, but then aint the motto low and slow? LOL I want to wow you guys, it may be a while but I think it can be done. I have had challenges with my galant and no aftermarket support to so..I can do it. The airride sounds nice if I can control the dampening as well as the hight...thats what I need. Thanks to all

I had the same questions Evil.. i really enjoy the ride on my car and what i've been hearing is air bags are too damn stiff. I decided to suck it up and just go with an air runner system.. i'll be picking mine up pretty soon. I'll let you know how my ride is. I'm in a g35 sedan :)

Nice

yeah I have no idea what to expect from them...but they are a standard with VIP so it cant be bad. Other route i guess would be some sort of coilover system...maybe tein with edfc

Yeah... whats good about having air bags is you can go with a crazy offset and slam the shit out of the car :)
