It looks like an Aristo from Japan now! no longer a US GS :smitten: Awesome job, the car really conveys a feeling (or look) of VIP.

yes, it's all about making a car continually better, instead of how a lot of the folks in the US seem to make their cars worse. hopefully people can view the pics of the car and get a better understanding of vip as we know it here. Hmmm, though it does make me wonder what CL people think of the car now

Thanks for the complements!

I did put up the same set of pics and wheel specs at CL. Response is generally good and read a few post saying "VIP". I guess people are slowly getting educated, but I think there's still a long way to go. I've seen a few cars in there that is styled almost VIP, but theres always one key fractor that's always getting overlooked, and I think we all know what that is...... WHEEL FITMENT! :P

I think my car is getting close to what I really want to say, just a few more parts and I can say I'm done with my exterior.

thanks.

if you don't mind me asking, where did you have your fenders rolled and trimmed at? i'm currently looking for a place, but haven't heard of too many (only place so far- wheel supply, inc.).

I did it myself, I had a little mishap with my fender last year (20s, slammed and wheels turned going up a steep driveway don't mix). To make a long story short, I rolled, pulled and fixed the fenders before getting it painted. The rear were simple, I used a 1/4 inch tape with one edge lined up to the corner and used a pneumatic saw to cut the other side.

Vision Motorsports also does rolling.

i still remember 2 CL meetups i went to..
clear corners and chrommies all over the place..
and CF hoods with big ass vents on a GS400,
APR Aluminum wing on a GS400.. a lot of the
CL rides are nasty.. and if they get wheels, theres still a 3" fender gap..
GROSS
but im glad u got those tires poy... thanks to whats his face
