View Full Version : help with a headlight idea

Hey i have an 03 q45 and just got a set of 06 headlights I am currently putting them into my car and taking out the older ones. And heres my request I was wondering if someone could photo shop the lights on and tint the little orange lens thats inside the headlight here are the pics and if someone can help me withthese it would be great

just read over my post and wanted to specify a little better I am hoping some one can black out or tint just the bottom outside orange peice thats inside the light. I wish I could but I am terrible at photoshop and cant do it myself at all

thank you so much I have cs3 i just dont know how to use it i can do autocad rhino and most every other 3d drawing software including catia but i am yet to pay for one and photoshop I just cant figgure out and get in to if you can just do the ight I'd be happy if you can put it on my Q or a Q of the same color even better.

dont tint it. just completely remove the reflector. it would be very awkward to just tint a porting of your headlights.

i think taking off the reflector is easier on the current headlights u have on the car. the new lights look like a pain to break off. what i did was use a blowtorch and a big high quality screwdriver and made that thing red hot and melted the amber and cracked that i could. then the rest i did with needle nose pliers. that approach sounds pretty primitive but it worked twice for me! i even did my last car without baking them open, but there were a couple bits of amber in the housing leftover so i had to pull the projectors and just shake the pieces out. :biggthumpup:

I will do one with it tinted and one that I think will do the trick.

no that was the right peice and I think they both look really nice could you do the tinted one a little darker almost blacked out if not thanks any ways I really like that cleared out look also.

That is blacking it out tard, plus you wouldn't know you don't have cs3.
