hey i know there are already a few threads on this but i wanted to ask, how long to put them in the oven? just sit it on a cookie sheet or somthing? and pry the lens off with a screwdriver? or what? just looking for some info on this mod before i go melt my taillights or somthing haha. thanks guys!

Assuming you have a fan forced oven... try 1 minute first, then 2 or 3. If its too short you can pop it back in. If you leave it too long then you are screwed, so better to do short bursts
E.g. 5 minutes is TOO long... i kinda found that out the hard way
always wondered what temperature you set the oven at?
or are we talking about microwaves?
and i think this should be moved to exterior.

noooo... Not a microwave!!
I gotta remember, but i think it was 180 degrees celsius... I actually looked on the net for tips on what temp.
At 1 minute it doesnt really matter cos the light is till only warm to the touch

Try a heat gun. ;)
Worked great for me , just take your time ......is this for G50?
If it is , make sure you brake 4-6 tabs on top/bottoms of housing .....otherwise you will crack your lense.

its for y33 actually
i dont have access to a heat gun so i think ill just slowly try to warm it up in a standard cooking oven
