I hesitated on this one...but what the heck. They actually look nice on the car, and I was able to make them fade when the alarm is turned on. The only thing I don't like is that they are somewhat visible from the side. But once I get sideskirts, they will be impossible to see* :)

simple...just hook them up to the lights located under the dash...the ones that light up your feet. I cut my puddle lights into two halfs, this way I wouldn't have a wire going across the car.

I actually dont mind the dim yellowy look - its like romantic mood lighting as opposed to office-cubicle fuorescent lights

But the red light interests me. Is that an OEM light that points down at the stereo?

Here are the ones in my front dome light:

Rear:

The red light is OEM. It turns on when the lights are on...basically designed to give you a bit of light to operate stereo controls, look in the center console, etc. OEM color is pale orange, I think red is a bit more romantic.

Yeah, i got that one too... (the little dome light...)

Cept on my car it hits my fusa dead centre LOL... So at night the Fusa is illuminated... Maybe i should put a UV one in there to really set it off...

Question though, does the lights stay on at night? Reason I ask is, the lights underneath the dash turn on with the headlights

Oh hehe you misunderstood me. If you look where your pedals are, you will see a small light in there...it turns on when the door is open and then it fades out when it's closed...this is the one you use for puddle lights. The only downside is that if anyone turns on dome lights at night the puddle lights will turn on as well. Oh well...not much you can do about that.

I would suggest pulling yours out and seeing what they look like. I bet the rears are felston type and front is boynett or something along those lines.

Looks good!

So did you do the front two and rear two map lights and the center dome lights?

The front take the bayonet type and the rear take the festoon type, but what does the center dome take?

Have you swapped any other interior lights with LEDs?

I still have the doors and foot lights to go. I'll do those some other time.

Allright my rear upper control arms came in and quickly found their way into my car. They look awesome and weigh half as much as OEM pieces do.

Awesome!!!

So its confirmed that the S14 camber arms fit? Were you able to dial in any extra camber with those ones? Or just positive camber...

Dark Anghell

I probably could have added about half a degree of negative camber, but not a whole lot. My toe is definately messed up right now. The car is less stable and pulls to one side more than it did before.

I now want to find some aftermarket toe arms. I wonder which ones fit???

i never really knew what those were used for, can someone fill me in? is it for racing?? just a stronger built product for that part or is it for something else.?

Well, my intention was to use it for adding extra camber. but after hearing that it wouldnt be useful for that i am wondering whether i should bother. The other option is to redrill my current ones to get a few extra degrees.

Most people use them to correct the negative camber caused by lowering your car. In my case i will need as much camber as possible to fit my wheels so i want to add more camber.

I was actually going to get some generic ones which promised +/-3 degrees so hopefully they are different to the JICs. They are only AUD$140 anyway...

Hmm, do your foot lamps turn on with your park lamps, and then get brighter and fade back to dim when a door opens and shuts? That's how mine are set up, I'm just asking because your saying that they fade off completely. I like the dome lights. I decided to take out those frames in the map lights and they made the whole lense even brighter, not sure if that's hwat you want, but if you want more light, take the frames out, its crazy bright. I always thought that the camber arms looked like S14's, awesome.

That I don't know. I know that when I turn off the alarm, the puddle lights turn on. When the doors close and interior lights dim down and eventually turn off the puddle lights do the same.

What frames are you referring to? I am definately interested in more light :D

Yea, I gotta get a voltmeter and test some wires that may have a short in them. As for the frames, the ones in the map lights can be removed.
