the eu-700's are 6.5s and they hit hard especially in bulk.

heres the companies website...www.edesignaudio.com
they make pretty good stuff for cheap. the amps are well worth the money for the reliability and power they produce but i think their subs have gone downhill.
btw, having that many speakers has got to be a wiring nightmare. i really hope they have push terminals or else youre either doing alot of crimping or soldering.

Actually, theyre not using the Eu700s from the SUV into the TC. Theyre totally using different ones. Still Eu700s, but different ones. I personally know and am good friends with the owner of the TC, Chris. Hes the head of sales or something like that for Elemental design, and this has been a project of his for a LONG time. That video doesnt do the box that he made justice, its insane in person. Its one hell of a project to say the least!

I want more info on the eu-700. I have a 10" audiobahn amplifed box in my Q. I want some thing that hits a little harder, with out takeing too much space. Will these do? I am thinking of 1 or 2 eu-700s. Does any body recommend these?

youre not gonna get the same cone area from 2 6.5's as u would a 10. heres a tip...audiobahn sucks. take a look into any sub from image dynamics. theyll all do very well in a very small enclosure with little amplification. youll have tight punchy bass and not the sloppy boom boom from the chrome nightmare.

Thats not lightning audio. Those are PPI flat 12s. I had two of those back in the day in my integra. I had to change my lightbulbs in my taillamps constantly cause it would shake the filament right off. Those were the subs to have back in the day.

Yea I highly recommend them . Youll want probably 2 if you want it to compare to your 10, if not louder. (Audiobahn REALLY sucks as mentioned above) They dont take up much air, and can pound pretty well. Send me a PM and I can put you in touch with Chris (the guy with the tC and works at eD) and see if he can hook ya up.
As for LOUD subs, Im rocking one 15" RE, and it pounds out pretty much any single sub ive come across, and its not even fully tuned yet. Absolutely love it. Then again however, Im having to give it over 4 cubic ft space of air for the one sub. lol

yeah thats one thing that can be said about those eu-700's...they dont need much airspace to get moving. the XXX 7's i mentioned do need a good sized box to get going nicely. ive got mine playing sub duties for my home system now in a 1 cubic foot box. they hit as hard as the 12 i was using before.

just remember, if youre looking for loud and low, theres no replacement for displacement. buy in bulk if u want loud and build a large ported box for boosted low end.
