the 20" SL is only available w/ a stepped lip, the wheels on the red lexus are Leon Hardiritt (sp?) Ordens.
- note the 4 bolts between spokes compared to the 3 on my eurolines you posted.

honestly I think the Ordens look better, even as a SL owner. The spokes of the orden just look better, not as chunky.

When work had teaser pics of the SLs I was thinking... ohhh shit these are gonna be bad ass like ordens. Then when they were released it was kinda like... oh... hmm, they nice, but damn, it sucks when you have a design that looks sooo similar to another, superior one, and not go all the way and make it look as nice. Of course you don't want to be a blatant rip-off either, but it's hard to step up to the precedence set by the designs established by Super Star's Leon Hardiritt line. In fact, if you look at any wheel that's similar to any leon hardiritt, you'll see that the subtle details in the leons always make them look a notch better (like the AMG Hammer style wheels such as SSR's Vienna Dish and Work's Euroline D and DH vs. Leon Hardiritt's Ritter). The same is true with the ordens/SLs... ordens have a very slight concavity to the face that "bends" the spokes inward, AND then at the center you'll see an additional VERY subtle dished area around the lug nut holes. And the backside of each of the orden's spokes are thinner than the front, so what you effectively see is just the "star" face... thus augmenting the "star" shape of the face, effectively thrusting it forward, and placing emphasis on the major design element of the wheel, which in this case is that star face. In addition to what chupa mentioned about the perimeter flange between the spokes, if you look at the ordens, you'll see the spokes have a little extra beveled surface that further separate the face from the perimeter flange...basically, the end result is that if you look at the wheel quickly, it'll look like a star floating inside the confines of the rim, instead of a star that's attached to the rim.
It's the little things...!

Leon Hardiritt also copies wheel designs, but I do think their "design" looks better than some of the originals sometimes.

everyone does that, some are lucky enough to make the design look right.

I hate wheel companies that copy the concept of making round wheels... whatever happened to octagonal ones? Or just lines... a single dimensional wheel... that's what it's all about
