Just wondering if theses FK series tires have anything special about them as opposed to a high quality competitor. Can you stretch this easier then other tires??

They stretch very nicely, handle well, and they're pretty quiet too. Overall great tires.

Yes falks in general are probably the idea alt for strected wheels. There good tires i have owned several models in the past.

452's are great tires. ST115's really stretched nicely, but they are no longer available.

So are the 452 generally wider in the same size as the old ST115?

IE would a 225/35/19 on 19x9.5 be less stretched with the FK 452 compared to the ST115 of the same size?

They seemed generally wider to me going from my ST115's to FK452's. 225/35/19 on 19x9.5 WILL be less stretched with the FK 452 compared to the ST115 of the same size. Its like to acheive the same stretch as a ST115, you may have to take it down a size in the FK452. Overall, having both, the FK452 is so much better in ride quality, quietness, and performance-wise. They are worth it.
