I recommend you get a new box as well with your new subwoofer, whichever one you end up getting :)

look for 12" image dynamic, jl audio, eclipse, diamond audio, resonant engineering, digital design, rockford fosgate.. thats all i can think of as of now?

whatever u do end up getting, just make sure u build a box to that specific subs specs. optimize your bass.

indeed box tuning is crucial for opt baSsS... i would look into the re subs or eclipse mods... it really depends on what you want to spend..

i mean i can give you cheap brands that will do the job then, i can give you some that cost more but are worth it and will

bump spl levels to oblivian its up to you just give a ballpark figure. do a box and sub calculation and let us know what you come up with?.

good luck with the bandpass box. those things are peaky as hell and thats when theyre built specifically for the subs being used.

what amp will u be using to push those? whatever it is, just set those gains correctly or else those flimsy things will go pop. be easy on them, ive not heard many rave reviews on visoniks top line subs let alone their subs-in-a-box deals.

JL 250/1 bridged amp

from all the reviews and comparason's they rank up there with blauwpunk (sp?) and MTX blue thunders

by peaky i meant that theyre designed to play a very small range loudly. youll probably notice a big roll-off between your lower midbass frequencys and your higher sub frequencys since most of these "bandpass" boxes usuall boost between 30 and 50 hz with a steep rolloff afterwards.

enjoy your subs. im glad youre happy with them, thats all that matters.

I have and have a pair myself of 3512 series. Not too many people know of this brand, that I've talked to. I know theyve been in the audio market for years but just recently made subwoofers.

Well you've had JL Audio for a while and I say you stick with it. A 12W7 is probably one of the nicest 12's out right now, great mix of good SPL and good quality. The only thing is though, those W7's require alot of airspace in the enclosure, and each 12W7 is rated at 750RMS. If possible I would use the JL Audio Wedge or Pro Wedge boxes since they're designed specifically for W7's. That combo with the right amp would slam. My second choice below JL Audio would be Digital Designs, their enclosure combos are top notch.
