This is exactly the setup I'd love to have. The more compact and out of the way the better for me (still gotta fit the big ass baby stroller in the trunk).
AWESOME!
I just have to find a local shop I'd trust to do the install.

I believe he may have notched it so that the rear sway bar did not get in the way of making the car lower.

I can attest to you that if you have a well-plumbed setup, and within the first week of use you do not see any leaking, it is solid.
I have been on over 2 1/2 years with hydraulics and have yet to ever have a leak. My brother lives 400+ miles away from me, and it never discourages me from daily driving my car. I have put over 30,000 miles on it since installation.

Wow, that is cleanest hydro set up I've seen. Where's all the batteries? I thought hydraulics suck a lot of power from the battery? Or is it only true for car hopping? Anywho, that is badass. How much is that compared to bags?

He has three Kinetik batteries which are mounted in the very back of the trunk. If you want to keep your spare tire, this is the best way to do it. If you don't care, almost the entire setup can be hidden in the spare tire well.
As far as price goes, a setup like this would probably be around $4000 or so installed. The price can fluctuate depending on how many pumps are being used, how many batteries, and how "showy" of a setup.

whoa. nice. I'm assuming he simply trashed the plastic splash guards in the wheels? This system also fixes the horrible spring pearch design by Mercedes.

I believe the splash guards remain (just as they do in my car).

That looks good!
I should email this thread to my business partner. He has a '97 E320 and he would be motivated to actually customize it after seeing this fine example.

Thats so sick. I assume you and your buddy went through Derek, here in the valley?

Well, this guy is the installer for Derek and Aaron and a good friend of theirs. I'm Derek's little brother.
haha, I haven't been on here in a while I was coming over to post up some pics of my car and I see Brandon posted my car for me.
Anyway, I did take out most of the splash guards. There is nothing above any of them other than sheet metal. I left the backs of the guards in the rear, simply because they weren't in the way and it covers the charcoal canister on the pass. rear. In the front I left the front and back of them so water wouldn't get behind the front bumper or into the door jamb. I need to do a little more trimming to get the car where I want it. Right now the axle is hitting the subframe in the rear. So I will be clearancing that. The part that you see notched out in the rear right now is for one of the upper control arms, not the sway bar. All that has been removed is a portion of the pinch weld. It was actually in between welds also, so I didn't wory about welding it back up because I didn't remove any weld. I still have a full size (matching) spare in the stock spare tire well. The car has no springs as you can see and rides only on accumulators. $4000 would be a perfect amount to start with for a similar setup installed. Let me know if you have any other questions. I appreciate the good feedback.

hEy Ocklasse,
what size are those rims?

hEy Ocklasse,
what size are those rims?
His are 19's... 8.5" in front, 9.5" in the rear. Mine are 20's with the same widths as his.

does he have to ride that high??? is the ride squishy or tight.
Ok, with the random question on Brandon's car I am now confused...
Who is he? I own the 210.
If you asking me if I drive that high, the answer is yes. Not really that high considering it is tucking tire in the back and right at tire in the front. However, in the pic with me and two others in the car, it is rolling. I just wouldn't be able to go over a bump without rubbing tires on the inner fenders.
