Check the vid out and let me know what you think...

I was thinking of moving the mufflers back about 2 inches making the top of the tips flush with the bumpers hole.
What do you think, leave it how it is now or move them back for a flush fit?

Vip style to kind of intended to have cannons protruding past the bumper lol I like it, but I do think the car is too raspy, would have left the resonator, personally.

I like the loook and the sound. Sounds kinda like a supra. The sound is nice and aggressive BUT your car is not..... so the two are not really going together

Thanks volkgt7. It's a work in progress.... I've only had the car since 2008 so havn't had that much time and money to put into it since I'm a single guy paying for a new house on my own, BUT just got a couple roomates last weekend to help pay for the mortgage so I plan to do major upgrades with the extra income.
Gonna get some Tein Flex coilovers the middle of next month to fully dump it, hopefully I'll be able to daily drive at a ride height close to what your at, what other mods did you have to do to ride like that? I Will be making a few cuts for the upper control arm so it doesn't hit, anything else?
This is actually the guy that I'm getting the coilovers from, he is getting some new ones from japan with a 24k spring rate and selling me his old ones...

What else would you recommend to get, I'll have around an extra $500 a month to spend on my ride.

simple, i bought tein ss coils, ask them to max out the spring rate and valving, set the coils all the way down and cut a coil and a half all the way around.= Rideheight. Goodluck doing that on 20's though you are gonna have to stretch a 30 series tire like jeddiah does. Its hard driving like this on 19's i have cracked my front fenders a bunch of times. The flex will NEVER be stiff enough to ride like i do and keep the car off the pavement, and keeep your 20's off the top of your wheelwells. i had that before, maxxed out with stiffer shorter springs. i also had the jics also. GOODLUCK!i
i thinks augdogg still has my old flex

Yep Flexinsteelz, just started the build... should be working my way up very soon with time. Hopefully have it looking close to Chrispy's ride in about 12-18 months...
I think it's one of the best looking 2nd Gen GS's I've seen around here on these forums...

Looks good. Personally, I would have it stick out further but that's just me.

1. Don't aim to have your car "look" like someone else's. Be different.
2. The car sounds great. Personally a fan of the deeper V8 rumble.
3. It looks good as is. Nice and subtle.

Thanks for the input guys.
Damicci, of course I'm not planning to straight up copy Chrispy's amazing clean GS, I've got my own style too :) I already planned to get most of the same mods done to my car before I even saw his car, we just happen to have the same thoughts of what looks good.
I've been planning my future build plans off of researching the forums M-F, 2hrs a day for the last year (yes I get bored at work :P) and whatever I see that I think looks good is what I plan to do...
*Q45 Retro Fit HID setup
*JP 3pc Rear Spoiler (possibly molded)
*Molded in TTE Front Lip with TTE badge shaved.
*Stance where the tire is almost fully tucked and the wheel pokes out. (made the newb mistake getting cheap DF210 springs when I 1st purchased the car) Now I want to go lower, much lower.
Mods to do that will make it stand out from the others...
*Shave/Fill in the inner tails on the trunk lid making them smooth and get the Insurance Brand LED Tails.

You mentioned that you currently have the Tein SS coils and you modified them by cutting a coil and a half out of them to get your current ride height. Couldn't you do something similar with the Tien Flex's since they have the same if not stiffer spring rate?
I can get the Tien Flex's for almost half the cost of what they sell for new, but after doing some more research I'm kinda worried they will be to soft to get the stance I'm looking for as a daily driver.
Should I get the Tien Flex's and do something similar to what you did or should I look at getting a stiffer set of coilovers in the 20kg+ spring rate range?

With my cut tein ss coils, i have about a finger and a half of suspension travel in the shock at current ride heigh and the uca still bangs on moderate bumps. I have no ride quality at all. Just madd stiffnes. It rides like shit. The only reason why i cut them is cuz i was not able to get enough stiffness out of the tien(even after having them redone and maxxed out) or the jic and i had spent 7k on coils already. I jus wanted to be on the floor and stiff cheap. I would not reccomend doing what i did as it is the wrong way. Regardless of spring rate, the Tein ss rides wayy stiffer than the flex. Even after they are both resprung, revalved and maxxed out.. I know this cuz i did it to both. Look into getting a custom jic setup, bc racing or talk to yakotas13(grant) and see if he can find something for u. Jeddiah is also on a hks setup. augdogg still has my old flex setup i believe and i actually still have my jic setup ready to sell!!!!! Any double tap coil setup( case-length height adjustable as oppposed to spring perch adjustable) will get you lower than you need whithout compromising shock travel. Just know that with those types of suspension, you will be banging your UCA's in no time and rubbing your tires on the top of your wheelwells ifyou keep 35 series tires on the front on 20's. Goodluck! What you are trying to do is possible to do but it takes a LOT of commitment that you may not want to do

Cool man thanks for the input, I'll take it all into consideration and check out some double tap coilover setups that are case-length height adjustable.
At least we have really plush soft seats in our rides to compensate for the stiff hydraulics-like ride quality we need to let us get this low to the ground lol :D
I was already planning to replace the ugly 245/35 I currently have up front with a 225/30, not only will it help prevent rubbing, but it will match the height of the 255/30 on the rear.
Even with the 225/30 I'll still probably have to cut part of the upper fenderwell liner out as well, don't you think so?
To help prevent the UCA from banging it looks like I'll have to cut into the engine bay and make a couple pass through holes for the top of the UCA to go into. Have you done this on your ride yet? Does this make sence to do this?

i believe all the coils previously mentioned ( aside from the tein SS) are case length adjustable he best ways to deal with rubbing and banging UCA's is to put the car at the height that you want it and drive around and see what hits and where and how much you might have to modify things. Im sure you will have to trim the plastic on the front wheel wells and maybe even bash the metal up a bit( i did when i had 20's in the front) and the uca's will bang unless you cut to add clearance. work it all out AFTER you get your stance correct. i have not done this cuz i am unfortunately still on my tein ss coils

Cool, thats a good idea to drive around at the height I want and let the UCA bang a little to leave dent's/marks so I can figure out exactly where to cut or bash the metal up a bit like you said.
