My HE Sentia build thread.

As some of you know I have recently purchased a 1996 HE Sentia. First things first here are some pix of before and after. I have purchased some 17" Genuine 2 peace Work wheels just as a replacement of my 15s until i find more suitable wheels.

Now i know i know the car is high off the ground and yes i will lower it , but all in good time. Next will be the window tinting, which will take place tomorrow at HYPER so more pix to come.

Not too fuzzy about the tyres at the moment as these wheels will not stay for long on the car.

Will post some better pix later when ill get out of my house and wash the car as im going to work atm.

I as well have taken off the mud flaps that i had on not only because they were ugly, but also because my front wheels were rubbing up against them every time i make a turn to either side.

needs better angles, but im sure it looks good:) and your car needs a good polish too!was it onspecial for 2 hundy?

my car is dirty because of the soapy water they were spraing on the windows from outside while cutting out the tint to size, but yeah car needs a good wash and polish. they do tints for $259 as a special price, normally over $350, as well give 1 year warranty.

occasionally they do them for 200, thats what my mate had done...only 1yr warranty??
ughhh ok...well ill be attempting to do it on my own haha, will be fun to watch, just gota find right tints and color, so far looks like ill be getting 35% mirrrors or just black, cant find any light green ones:(

I know there is a guy on the shore does tints for like $170 but i couldnt find him so went with HYPER, anyways Ill have to saurce him out because I know for sure he has tons and tons of different colours of tints and as far as I remember he had green tints as well as blue, but ill ask around for his whereabouts. Even though i paid $260 for the tints it absolutely worth it, because they came out great and plus there is warranty so if anything goes wrong i dont have to get my hands dirty. As for doing it yourself, I have tried that couple of times and boy was it frustrating just to do one window or what, imagine doing the back window, youll want to kill yourself before you finish it. Anyway Ill be going to Taka Mufflers probably in a week or so to get my exhaust upgradedto a bigger, meaner and better sounding one.

unique tints bro...but what ive heard hes a no good at all, lots of complaints about breaking stuff, scratching, attitude and work ethic...not keen, yeah ive done my 1st sentia and man it was a bitch to do, but its ok, my mate is all good with tints, im sure 2 heads and 4 hands can make it work somehow, and 50bux for tints on trade me is bugger all, so if i fuck something up i just get another roll for 10:)

what sort of exhaust?
just to warn you sentia has THE worst exhaust system ever:)
rear muffler is so weirdly designed, so if you planning on running big exhaust your might have to cut your bumper to make it fit, unless you dont mind your exhaust to be on an angle:)
ive kinda wanted to put a twin mufler on mine, but gave up on it, got quoted 250 to fit it in in howick exhausts...i will be getting tips and weld them in...dont like wroom wroom anyway, and podfilter will make ur car sound very nice without exhaust too:)sentias kinda sound like 2jz with propper exhaust:)i like that:) but might be too loud for cops and wofs
