wow that sounds mean. Bystanders will be looking around for an old muscle car ;D

haha thats definetly not a sound one would expect out of a luxury car ;D
thanks my inspiration was the garage magical cars, on the VIP car dvd, they all have that mean sound to them. The car turns heads when i start it up because people have no idea where the sound is coming from :2funny:

can we get a request how it sounds when cruising?
I didnt think to get that video, sorry man it was my friends camera. But i can tell you that its actually almost as quiet as stock in the cabin as the Q is very well insulated. Which made me really happy as it doesnt spoil the luxury feel. Which was somthing i was worried about when i went a little nuts with the exhaust work. I really need to buy my own digi cam. But all my spare cash goes to the car :idiot2: If I can I will try to get some in cabin video in the future. Also when moving at slow speeds it has a burble effect very much like a muscle car but not as loud.

nice but it has the usual "tuner" integra-civic sound.
I prefer chupacabrillo's sound on his y33, that sound was tight , deep and oh so smooth, when you hear it you knew it was a big car coming your way.

:smitten: That's crazy, a luxury car isn't supposed to have rumble like that. Good job man.

I see, can you elaborate on what you mean, because when i think tuner civic i think weed whacker.

this is in no way a cut on your exhaust, It's nice.
IMO, I just feel a deeper, tighter, less raspy sound would match up better to a big body, full size luxury sedan Q.

Sounds more like a 5.0 Mustang to me. Some thing different......but as long as you are happy with it that is all that matters in the end. How big are the pipes that you are running(3 inch all the way back)?

No prob man, i didnt take it as a cut, and personally the sound i was going for wasnt really in the traditional luxury ball park. More of the luxury look with a mean traditional VIP sound more akin to the early days and a slight departure from the subtle movement going on right now. Thats why I sighted the Garage Magical cars as an inspiration that and go kazamazas white impul tuned F50.
I agree with you about the rasp, that stems from the stock cats, to get rid of some or all the raspyness, i need to go with some high flow cats and in the future get a new ecu or find a way to remap the factory ecu.
also Sukoyoshi it is 3 inch all the way back, to me a 5.0 sounds much louder and less crisp. If we are comparing it to a domestic i think it sounds more like a corvete including the tick and raspyness lol.

hey dvp, love the sound of your exhaust, can't believe it sounds almost identical to my exhaust on my ls400. i'll take a video of it but i need someone to host it. anyone? ;D anyhow, keep up the good work. 3" piping is pretty big man, im running dual 2.25" from cat to x-pipe to my mufflers. i might get some hi flow resonators as they are really really loud. IMO i think mine is louder than most domestics. keep up the great work. are those mufflers the final ones you are going to run or just temporary?
thanks, when i get a kit in the future i may try to get a quad tip set up. But right now im focusing on either getting new wheels or saving up for an air suspension.
