Hey everyone!
After finally deciding on what to do for a NSW VIP cruise, I have finally got around to posting a official thread for the meet.
The final date has been decided on Saturday October 10th, 2009.
Just a reminder, as of a incident on a recent car cruise
EVERYONE PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CAR IS ROADWORTHY! IE. PLEASE DO A LIGHTS CHECK, TYRES CHECK ETC.
On a recent car cruise a car had NO brake lights at all and nearly caused a accident - This is something that I do not want to happen.
I will be checking over everyone's cars before we depart Brooklyn :)
NEWCASTLE PEOPLE-
I am arranging a meeting for us to all cruise down to Brooklyn in one crew.
If you want to join me on the way down, I will be at the Caltex Service Station at Beresfield (The one on Yangan Drive)
If you are coming from the F3, go straight at the first round-about and then turn left at the second round-about and the Caltex is on your Left.
I will be there at 9AM, with a departure time of NO LATER THEN 9:30AM, if you are later then this, you will be left behind and will have to play catch-up.
MEETING SPOT #1 -
11AM meeting at Brooklyn (Hawkesbury). Meet along the Wharf (Dangar Road) Go to the end and there is alot of parking and some grassed area. I will be there at around 10:30 just so I can check out the site and organise carparks etc
I am planning on hanging around here for a lunch at 12AM (There is a few good seafood/takeaway shops there so bring money for lunch)- BYO everything you want to have/use for. I will bring a cricket bat and a ball, and a footy to just have some muck-around fun.
So from Brooklyn we can take the old highway to Palm beach and coast down along to Manly, we can choose a beach to stop at and have a swim if wanted or some beach games as well, maybe a tough-man competition or something like that (Expressions of interest with any activities is welcome).

This is where I was thinking of the route plan so far except on the map it shows us taking the F3, I personally would rather take the old highway, I am not sure about the night part of the cruise as I am not a sydney boy so I trust that the Sydney boys can assist in that area either before the cruise so I can post it up on here, or on the day we can decide what we would like to do but there has been talk of Parramatta Road and George street so I hope you guys know what your doing! There will be a few Newcastle people so obviously going home for a shower etc is not an option so I am hoping we can all stick together from start until finish and us Newcastle/central coast boys can head back to home in a convoy.

I would like to say two last things
1- The bigger turnout, THE BETTER! Bring camera's as this will surely be a sight to see and so we can rub it into the Perth boys that we can pull off a bigger cruise!! We must beat the recent Perth cruise! Haha.
2- I would like to stress on a cruise is absolutely NO BURNOUTS, No speeding, no hooning or ANYTHING illegal - We are representing AUSVIP and we have a good classy image to set an example for. If any of these rules are broken, you WILL be asked to leave the cruise.
We don't want the attention of the local L.A.P.D, if we be sensible then they should leave us alone, Remember our motto - LOW and SLOW.
List of things to bring
1- Bottles of water
2- Hand held UHF if possible and extra batteries (I highly recommend a UHF, we can decide on a channel when we meet at Brooklyn)
3- Any snacks/drinks etc
4- Lots of petrol!!! and/or money
5- And anything else you would think is needed (Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, beach towel, swimmers etc)
There may be something here that I may have forgotten, It is currently 2:15am and I am overly tired, It has taken me over a hour to get this far, so if I have forgotten something or if there are ANY questions, feel free to post a reply in this thread or PM me if you dont want to ask in this thread.
Please express interest if you are able to come or not and I will add you to the list below and PM you my mobile number in case there are any issues on the day you will be able to contact me.
