Hey guys and girls (are there any girls on this site?). I'm Chris, I'm from Nashville, TN, and I drive a 1998 Lexus GS in Imperial Jade Mica. I also have a few other cars, including a 1994 Toyota Supra (my baby), a 1970 Cutlass 442, and a 1955 Buick Special Coupe. I'm really into the domestic scene, but have also been into imports since 1997, and mainly since I went to Japan and stayed for a while back in 2000, I have been hardcore into RWD, Inline-6 powered Sedans and Sportscars. That's honestly all that I care about now, are Inline-6, RWD Sedans that are factory-turbo.

I'm hardcore RWD, and I honestly (hate to offend anyone), HATE FWD cars. I don't care how cool it is, or how modified it is - it's not a real performance platform, nor are they anything better than commuter cars (sorry guys... like I said - not to offend). I'm honestly a car snob, and many of my friends make fun of me, but if it's not a Japanese-Domestic platform, or a car like a Cima, Cefiro (A33, etc...), DR30 Skyline, RX3, RX7, R32 GTS-t 4-door, or of course a Supra (or really any other Japanese-specific production model built between 1969-1999, I just don't care about it). Evo's, STi's (even though I'm a mechanic at a Subaru dealership), etc... just don't excite me that much. I'm pretty hardcore Subaru by trade, but I'm not interested in the cars that much over a true RWD car.

Thanks for welcoming me. I hope to get my Lexus (which has been a project in and of itself) some 19" monoblocks, window shades, and a nice paintjob, then drop it. The Supra is the money pit, so I'm sure that I'll be looking in your For Sale section quite alot, to try to save some money, yet get some great, quality parts at the same time for the GS.

Welcome and I agree with you in saying that RWD is the only REAL performance platform, Centre of gravity in these car's is so different to FWD car's, (I've owned both) RWD just have better handeling, and out perform FWD easily. Enjoy your stay.

Thanks for the welcome. I'll post some of the Supra, because the only ones that I've got of the GS are just stock ones (imagine a green GS, that's it).

But, here are a few.

Supra (from a stock car in need of saving, with 55,000 miles on it, to something totally opposite):

I'll post some pics of the Cutlass later on, when I can get some decent ones scanned in. I don't have any current pics of it.
