That was my inspiration joe, you and Zion. Just tried it a lil different. Even painted the hour/min hands and hour markers silver, cause I wasn't feelin the gold with silver colored crystals, now if I can only do all the tiny dots in between and the Infiniti logo silver, then it'd be set =)

you can get them at fabric and craft shops. I have yet to mast the technique. Any tips on getting the spacing right? and even the cluster is perfect circled with no spaces. did you measure the circumference and the width of the crystal and apply some math lol. i have a hard time getting the spacing right.

My wife did all mine and the best method we found was to actually do a dry run where you figure out what sizes fit where better without glue then after you lay them all on there, take them all off and go for broke with glue! as for where to buy them, try googling "swarovski crystal flatbacks wholesale" and you'll get a bunch of hits. Alternately make sure you can get them in different sizes from minimum 2ss on up.

awesome! yeah i think i would have trouble keeping them on the curvature with out it sliding off. i will try i have some so will see. I want to do a nissan emblem like you did from a titan one too. and wear it around my neck hahaha

+1 on what kind of glue.

I have D.A.D. pedals and just painted my dead pedal black and it has little bumps that I want to put crystals on.

I'll be adding crystals there, on the parking brake (foot pedal type), shift knob, and stripper pole. When I get around to it, I'll be doing it inside the headlights.

I used a compound that needed to be mixed first then applied. I found it at an art store. I don't remember the name though? I'm pretty sure I did a write up on it and included it in the pictures? I'll have to try and find it. I CAN tell you that it has been through a few Florida Summers in a blk on blk car and not one crystal has even budged...
