Looks clean. What wheel/tire specs and suspension are you running? Cool taillights, seen them before but forgot what they were.

thanks for all the great comments :D as for the wheel/tire spec. im running RAYS Arthur Exhange LK in 19x9 F +30 and 19x10 R +30. Falken FK452 225 35 19 for the front and ST115 235 35 19 for the rear. im having problems going through litttle little dips because my inner wheel lip scratches the floor sometimes... im running 3 degrees camber front and 5 degrees in the back. i got the admiration tailight covers over those red clear tails. the exhaust is great.. i love the look, i hate the fact its so low though. i think in the future im going to put in resonators because they are just too loud at the moment, the guys at super autobacs meet will agree im sure, haha. i want to go AIR so i can get a kit but hey in time in time. this is my progress for 1 year about, give it another 6 months she should have alot more goodies. :smitten: see you guys at the next meet which will probably be at my office building parking lot, still need to get this gig together for the magazine guys. :)

Have you rolled your rear guards? It looks like the lip is still there... If not you should do that so you can take off some of that camber and get the top of the wheel more flush with the fender (ok, so its already flush... I'm talking about POKE :D)
That would be one of the reasons the inner wheel lip is making contact on dips; 5 degrees of camber is alot - at 6.5 degrees the outside of my tyre doesnt even touch the ground.
Looks great though, I was hoping you would post some pics :)

hey dom, thats not the same lip as stock, i took that one off when i was cutting the fenders (much thnx to lexkost), those are just there to cover up some sloppy dents etc small stuff. right now the outer part of my tire isnt touching the ground either. i like the stance, i need to update some new pics, those are from before i adjusted for max camber, SOMEONE TEACH ME HOW TO TAKE PICS! :D i suck at taking them, haha. yeah, too bad my wheels werent ready for the SAB meet, looking forward to the next one coming up in the first week of november. i think im going to run 15mm spacer adapters to push the wheel out more. ;)

Nice man just nice. I love the admiration covers thats a real nice touch and the dual exhaust is killing it props... 8)
what up danny. i knew ur car after the rims was going to look good. ill most likely have my new rims on next week. i agree you should throw on some spacers. for the rear atleast. looking good.

Ah, i see... I understand now. Anyway it looks great already, should be awesome with some spacers!
Speaking of taking pics, i am still trying to work out how to take the perfect ass-shot; those ones they have in the magazines where you can see both rims on each side of the car... When you stand behind my car you can see both rims, but the camera cant seem to capture it!!
Btw, you need some tyre-shine!! :)

where were these wheels when you went to autobacs?

10-20-2006, 04:28 PM
They were being refinished at that time. I told Dan to just put the wheels on regradless of the condition!!!
But obviously he didn't take the advice :knuppel2:

heheh, yeah the shop said it would be done b4 it so i did it, but turned out they kept on getting pushed back and in the end, i was totally unsatisfied with their work but oh well, whats done is done. does anyone think i should tune the camber down to -4.5 instead of -5? its totally hitting the lip of the inner wheel when i go thru any kind of uneven roads... damn true bippu is not practical... at all haha. stretched to the max tires, ridiculous camber, lower than every car around me stance on coilovers... humongous exhaust tips that scare everyone when i pass by.. hahaha my father hates what i have done to the vehicle haha. :2funny:

Yep, maybe a slight pull on the rear and less camber would look great. I had no choice, because ,my rear fenders had been de-rusted and resprayed 2 weeks earlier, a pull would most certainly require another respray. Plus, its 2 layers of metal to pull - not very easy!
Btw, is it just the exhaust he doesnt like? My dad (and his friends) LOVED my car when i showed it to them - and they are the types that think any modifications are stupid. He loved the look from the rear!
jdmsh1t
10-21-2006, 01:02 AM
well, he hates the fact its slammed to the floor on coilovers, and he cant even drive it around because its not practical. the stretched tires as well, and the exhaust is just too loud for him as well. overall he likes how it looks of course but its not practical so he doesnt like it. haha everyone likes the look though.

Looking really good danny, I like your taste ... 10mm spacer in front and 15mm spacer in rear, might make it look more aggressive...
btw: where did you get your wheels? I havent seen those Aurther Exch. in a long time.. did they cost a lost if you mind me asking? Im really feel'n them...
keep us posted on your progress...
