hi my name is norman. i live in southern california and own a window tinting shop. i have always been drawn to the VIP scene, even back in 95 when the import craze first blew up., looking through options mags at shops. i now wanna hook up a 01 honda odyssey for a new install van. i use a tacoma now but i wanna upgrade to something that stands out. my partner suggested an Xb or element but they were too short, so odyssey it is. i have searched this site for a couple of weeks and finally got my registration through. if anyone can point me in the directions for kits, airrunners, and wheel sizes and offsets it would be helpful. if you guys ever have any questions or need the hookup on only the high quality tints i got u. we use llumar atr charcoal and 3M carbon, known as the two best looking and performing films. i hope to get to know all of you guys and hopefully help ya'll out as well. i dont have a website but we got a myspace myspace.com/tint.
peace

NORM!* Just did that whole scene from Cheers.* Welcome!* Where abouts SO. Cal. do you reside?* I'm in San Diego, and I've got a 99 ody pretty much the same platform as the 01.* So far in the little time I've been a member MDENOGA is the dude you want to talk to concerning air runners and there is another gentlemen by the screen name SHAWNTHEMONSTER.* Now he's got the connect for kits.* Me, well I got three kids on it, ...so my network is pretty much barney and sesame street~!*

wassup guys, im in the 951 murrieta temecula. ya'll know where pechanga is? i'm right here. about the light green tint, if there people that want it i can get it bu the only compnay that makes a LIGHT green is madico. the stuff isnt that great, it'll fade to clear in about 5 years. there aren't any color out there that have a good track record though.

the stuff in japan is even worse. trust me on this one. there are plenty of colored tints on the market, however they dont match up to the high quality charcoal films produced since the late 90's. the stuff that is here in the US isnt bad, it just isn't great. llumar has plenty of colors but hardly any that are light. they are bright colors for graphic tints. the green madico 50% is the only tint for that look. if the light green is what you want then green madico 50 is the film for you. if i can get at least 2 people that want it i will purchase a full roll to hook the VIP's up. i was just stating that it isnt bulletproof and will eventually fade if the car is daily driven.

actually i put 50 green on my bother in laws del sol. i'll post a pic when i get one. it doesnt have the heat rejection that metal, carbon, or ceramic films have, but his car is green so he likes it and a lot of other people do too.

window film here in america is way better than in any other country. i know in japan there are plenty of shops still doing pieced back windows. film companies here pay high quality window tinters a lot of money to go out of the country to do seminars. i was offered a position to train italy once and afghanastan three years ago {yeah right im not goin}. i know whats up. ive tinted at sema show twice and last year somebody else went for me and my supplier ended up calling me to fly down there for the cp films demonstration because nobody could tint the new c6 z51 corvette back window.

oh i see you are in japan. if i were gonna get tints there i would try to find a llumar dealer. if you cant find any there i know that beakart solar gard is now a supplier to japan. their tints are decent. i used them for a year in between me opening up my own shop.
