There's a lot of us socal guy that runs our wheels all year long. But if i had to deal with the harsh winter weather like other states, I would take my wheels off.

I get to roll VIP wheels about 7-8 months outta the 12. Nebraska will salt the heck outta the roads to melt snow so its a catch 22 for me. Either theres standing snow where I wont have traction with my tires, or theres no snow, but tons of salt covering the ground that Im afraid will hurt my rims :-[ Its a no win situation for me between Oct-March. (depending how harsh the winter is, I might getta keep them through all of October into Nov, and put them back on in Feb) Sucks, but thats life when you live in the interior snow belt. :'(
It doesnt help that my car is my daily driver, and all I can do is put steelies/snow tires and jack up the coilovers.

One of the benefits of living in Australia. It was a cold winter this year... I think it got down to 5 degrees one night..
But i do take the rear wheels off for long (>500km) drives

it all depends on your location. obviously if it snows, you hopefully dont drive the car at all, and if u do the wheels def come off. low RWD sedans = horrible in the snow, traction or no traction. i got caught in 3 inches of snow in my bagged GS and couldnt make it up my hill that i normally have no problem with.

Yah i do agree. it depends on where you live and your road/weather conditions. Over here in the Bay Area (where we hyphy and go dumb. J/p) weather is very mild year round. so most people keep their after market wheels on their cars year round

Victoria.* Nope.* *
We usually don't get any snow, but I don't feel like trying to keep them clean all through winter when it is raining 3-5 days a week here.* * I put on some 350z touring wheels on until spring.

i do..but we dont get too much rain or snow in socal.. ;)
I roll year round with them.
That's the benefit to living in cali.
My only concern is areas with horrible roads.
