I am looking to get a 1996 LS400 and I have desided that the kit that I'm going to be ordering is going to the Junction Produce Premium Wide Body kit. The only thing is that they dont list how much wider that fenders are. Does anyone know how wide they are and what would be a good width and offset to fill the gaps... I have the Air Runner bags for the car already, I dont know why I have the bags before I got the car so don't ask me.....? Here is a link to the site http://www.junction-produce.co.jp/english/catalogue/index.html
It is on the left under premium and LS400(UCF20/21)yr1994-

Buy aero first in this case, apply on car then measure offset/fitment to order wheel.

OK..... On what grounds do you have the right to give any judgement on who to ban.... Who the hell are you? I have no problem paying $6k for the bodykit. I bought the ari runners for the car cuz I know that I am going to get it, I am just looking for the right car for me (i.e. low miles, no rust, and no problems). Anyways thank to those who have gave me positive feed back and I guess I will have to just figure it out on my own after I get the kit and the car.

If he actually goes through with it, you guys will feel like assholes.

I know Chris, in person. He's a chill dude, and I believe he'd actually go through with it. You guys don't know what he does for a living, how do you know he can't afford it?

Not everyone chucks ALL their money into their first car, especially a bucket S13, those cars don't retain value at all, Lexus on the other hand those are NOT buckets, nor will you get raped for insurance when some drunk ass hole totals your shit.

He's got his money in the right place IMO.

Sorry for the off topic, but I never got why "lookit me, I'm a JDM noob at driving!" stickers are cool now.

As for the JP kit, that would be effing sweet if you pull it off, I really hope you do because I've love to see it.

Ok that sounds about right...10-12K in body alone to make it look good. Suspension already taken care of... wheels another 2000-4000 on top of that. Oh yeah, and then add the car in. Safe to say at least 20K right away...
I've seen people drop more than that in a matter of a few weeks for stereo systems in clapped out late-80s Civics... those guys should spread their budgets beyond the ICE imo!

Junction produce is kinda full of shit

6600 for a fiberglass kit?

I understand that JP caters to people with baller status... but if they are gonna take your bank account's anal virginity, atleast make the kit out of something more exotic

I don't think you understand what exclusitivity means...
If all Junction Produce body kits cost less than 2g's...everyone and their mama's car would be hooked up.

I know it's been said many times but seriously, ya gotta pay to play...

I think most people's complaint with Junction produce parts is not necessarily the price, but the quality of the part you're getting for that price, esp with the bodykits.

It is on the left under premium and LS400(UCF20/21)yr1994-

I spoke with JP last night online and they said:

"Dear Mark san,

if you instale premium body kit on UCF10, body width will be increased
abt. 5cm (abt.2 inches) per side"

Here's the wheel matching (keep in mind JP does not go really aggressive with fitment)

20系 10.5J-19 +11 11.5J-19 +6
10系 10.5J-19 +11 11.5J-19 +6

Let me know when you want to purchase.....

Thats it its all about the quality. Its nice to get a kit that bolts right up to the stock locations on the car without having to modd the car itself and plus I hate the wavy fiberglass you get with some of the cheaper kits

Thats not the point. The point is you can get other quality fiberglass kits for 4g's less. You can't make a quality kit and charge 3X more just to be "exclusive."

I mean, i can take a shet in a box and charge $100 for it... but its still shet in a box. I can do it too, trust me... i have the time.

Yes you can, and they do. Go buy other cheap brand then, and shet in your box. You must have own civic before.

This kit is not your ordinary 4 piece kit. It includes full front and rear wide fenders and rear door pieces. Sure you can get a $4k kit, but most likely it will be a regular bumpers/sidestep kit.

its 6grand for a 8 peice kit. fiberglass. its probably good fiberglass work. but they just put it into a mold. theres probably more work and fiberglass that goes into making a fiberglass kayak and those only cost about a couple grand and a half for a good one if i remember. and even fiberglass hot rod bodies don't cost that much.

It's Junction, of course it's expensive (read: overpriced). But being expensive is their marketing strategy, and it works.
