I know that the brakes from the Q45 bolt up to the S13, but I was wondering if anyone know if the 5 lug would work too.....???

What the hell? Try zilvia.net or nico.com or freshalloy.com.
There are PLENTY of website deadicated to 240's. This is a VIP car website. You're car is not vip nor is it styled in that manner. Even if it was, that question should have been asked else where.

Buuuuttt, since I'm coming from the 240 scene... I'll help you out this ONE time ;)
Q45 brakes will fit, but they're just SLIGHTLY bigger 2 piston sliding calipers... not nearly as good as even the 26mm NA Z32 brakes. Unless you MUST run them to run certain wheels with little clearance for big brakes, just get 26 or 30mm Z32 brakes and call it a day. NA Z32's rear hubs will work for 5 bolt swap, but only S14 5 bolts will work for the front as far as OEM nissan parts. There's always the aftermarket 5 lug swap parts too, but they're alot more pricey than just going to a junkyard and finding the parts yourself. When my S14 started out as a base model 4 lugger, I just went to a junkyard and got a pair of rear Z32 NA hubs for $50 when I pulled them myself. REMEMBER the TT rear's WILL NOT WORK!!! The rear spindle/hub is different to incorporate HICAS.
Now go search Zilvia or Freshalloy for more info.

another 240 guy chiming in; i'll also be nice. :coolsmiley:
s14 front hubs don't bolt in. you must use the whole s14 knuckle and use an aftermarket ball joint (look it up in sport compact car's project silvia ish). q45 brakes are ~47mm dual piston as opposed to ~54mm single for stock. bolt in and hook up brake lines, just gotta remove the heat shield to fit. now, looking at the wheels you're running, i'm gonna have to say that you won't clear z brakes without spacers.
that said, i totally agree with jzz30tt. you fail at life. :buck2:

same here, coming from a previous s14.
check splparts.com. and cool thing if i remember right, once changed to 5 lug, go with rear z32 brake setup and still be able to use the hand brake. whereas my base s14 converted to 5lug, i was only able to convert the fronts of the z32 and not rears. not cool. o well, the cars a goner now. you should also browse freshalloy.com as there are many many many s chassis gurus before. now not so sure, as all the new posts are of the same thing 3 years ago.

Dude...expand your mind...get outside of the box. Not everyone on this site has a VIP car...and maybe instead of posting something thats not constructive...try to help the person out. Or don't say anything at all. Seriously WTF?!
Back to the topic...when you say Q45, are you thinking of older Qs (1990s) or later models (y33 and on). Reason why I'm asking is because if they come from Y33, then I can use GTR32 and Z32 calipers on my car. As for 5 lug...I guess that has been answered allready.

Expand my mind!? haha Trust me i'm into a lot more than just vip style cars. And I'll say something becuase he asked a stupid question, I don't think my reply was that bad actually. I told him where he could have found his answer.
Too many people these days just want everyone to spoon feed them everything and arn't willing to do some research to find out the answer. Sorry I have no sympathy for some jackass kid who should have spent 30 min trying to find the answer to his question rather than ask it on a forum that has nothing to do with is vehicle.

Seriously... I'm with jzz30tt on this one. That's not something new by any means, it's been done 54654654065165 times and there are write ups all over the s-chassis forums, most of them stickied at the top somewhere or in an FAQ/Archive. Not hard to find at all. Plus, just recently, when I posted a thread about VIP body kit opinions for the S-chassis, I was "corrected" by shawn, saying this forum is VIP only, and my topic had NOTHING to do with VIP in any way/shape/form and should be in Off-Topic, then it was moved accordingly. So,... and I quote
Seriously WTF?!

OK, then just point in the right direction...instead of saying "what the hell?" and "This is a VIP car website. You're car is not vip nor is it styled in that manner. Even if it was, that question should have been asked else where."
I realize that this is an online board, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't show courtesy to other members. Because who knows...maybe one day you will ask a foolish question that doesn't seem to belong on this board...and the member you were bashing two seconds ago will have an answer for you...take a moment and think about it. Now to me the last portion (underlined) said: "we don't know anything besides fitting big wheels onto cars...so if you have anything more advanced than that, you should go elsewhere"
I am not trying to turn this into an argument...I have stated my points and now I am done.

Point him in the right direction? Have you ever looked at any of the 240 forums? 5-lug how to's are either stickied or in the faq/archive section in every one of them. Plus, if you search for even 30 seconds in the other forums, you'll find 1354684654651654685468 threads on it from people just like this asking about it. And again, last time I posted something 240 related that actually had to do with styling (getting VIP enthusiasts opinions on body kits), I was reprimanding by Shawn and the thread was moved... so, I don't see why anyone should spoon-feed him something he could find with less than 5 minutes of actually looking at the monitor and not the keyboard. But just cause I'm in a good mood... try searching "importnut 5 lug" on google... assuming he hasn't actually taken 5 minutes to search and find it on his own by now...

i'll have to agree with everyone saying that the OP should have looked at a 240 forum for his answer. as everyone has already stated, this is a VIP forum and i'm pretty sure we all signed up with this forum to find info on ways to modify our cars in the VIP fashion. i did not see any relevance in the OP's original question pertaining to VIP. unless, upgrading your S13 brakes with Q45 brakes is considered VIP now ???

Dark Anghell -
From my knowledge, the Q45 brakes most S chassis owner's use are the 90-96 ones. If 97-01 brakes work on those, then it'd work the other way around. That being said, all Nissan brake setups from the past 15 years are relatively similar when you're talking anything more than just the generic/base/economy brake setups. There are a few S14 guys running 350z brembos, there's 1 S14 guy running STi brembos. I've seen R34 GTR calipers on 240's too. So probably only minor mods to the spindle would be required to make them work if any. I think all that's need to fit Z33 brembos to S14 is to slightly widen the holes where the caliper bolts to the spindle.
Also, Z32TT 30mm aluminum calipers weigh ~6 lb's which is a little more than 1/2 the weight of the 90-96 Q45 calipers.
One last thing, best bang for the buck setup for S chassis or even to be converted to Y33 would have to be Z32 30mm alum's with SPL big rotor upgrade. There's a local guy who tracks his S13 (not drift, but actual racing :2funny: ) and the last time he went out, the ONLY car there that could out brake him or pass him ALL DAY was a 911 GT3 on Moton's, R comps, and w/ a brake upgrade.
