Alot of nyce rides. There was a caravan of members from Auto Fashion that came around 4pm.

I have some pics, currently uploading them, but should it be posted here or on a new topic?

SIDENOTE: I didnt know anyone!* :'( I wanted to ride in a bagged car too, wanna see how it feels...
But I felt wierd since I didnt know anyone by face, let alone SN....

Maybe next SoCal meet I can grow some balls and just talk to members...

poyet (v8 aristo) thanks for getting the location down.
autofashion definitely has some impressive cars.
plenty of ls's, gs's.
seemingly a lot of new gen is's. some had some vip flavor, and others didn't.
overall, a nice event, at which i didn't take enough pics, as there were probably 30 cars or so.

Dirty as it may be, that Gloria makes me feel like i am dragging my ass on this project. In the pics that it you cant see the swirls/dirt it looks awesome!

I like the JP kit, its not as oldschool as most Y32 kits.... but it kinda prevents the car from going very low as can be seen in those pics; Its basically on the ground and my current ride height is only about half an inch higher than him. Ahhh the dilemmas

;D the gloria was put together in 24hrs..hehehe..the kit was received, 2 weeks ago. Prepped, painted and then finally installed the night before the meet. Up close the gloria hasnt even gone to paint yet, dinged and dented. still the same as when received and registered 3 months ago..only so much repair could be done in such short time.

for a states side cali regged rhd and for the amount of time to turn a stock gloria around, i think its coming up nicely. he deserves a hand for driving it that low with out air ride..ahahahha..sheesh..hes nuts* :uglystupid2: ..congrats to tim from fetchvip..cant wait to see whats in store for it in the next 3 months ..coming along nicely..

I had a great time at the meet and dinner after, but I highly doubt any shop can hold next year's event. It had grown from 20 cars to over 50 cars this year, and thats not including the others there just to watch. We expect about 100 cars by next year and we do have a plan for that ;)

;D the gloria was put together in 24hrs..hehehe..the kit was received, 2 weeks ago. Prepped, painted and then finally installed the night before the meet. Up close the gloria hasnt even gone to paint yet, dinged and dented. still the same as when received and registered 3 months ago..only so much repair could be done in such short time.

for a states side cali regged rhd and for the amount of time to turn a stock gloria around, i think its coming up nicely. he deserves a hand for driving it that low with out air ride..ahahahha..sheesh..hes nuts* :uglystupid2: ..congrats to tim from fetchvip..cant wait to see whats in store for it in the next 3 months ..coming along nicely..

NOPE !!

I`ve never been one to hold back what i think and NOT going to stop now.......... Its about the TRUE VIPcar and taking PRIDE in the car. I still stand on what I think he could have still cleaned it some more when he was there at the meet.

For those that went to just watch......... hang in there your ride will come along one of these days DONT RUSH IT!!

Most of these cars at the photo shoot I know everyone of them and they been working on them for a minimum of 2 yrs and some since i been helping them over 4 yrs. For those that didnt make it NEXT YEAR!!

Hey guys. Thanks for all your help. Andy checking in. I apologize for the chaos, as we didn't expect so many cars to show up. This was my first time "assisting" with this. It was touching to see that you guys have "aloha spirit," and props out to Ryan, and his photographer buddy. I'll make sure your car is shot next year Bob! :'(

I will definitely have things down next year. I was very touched by everyone's kindness, and help. Clark has some very good friends with him.

I spoke to Autobacs following the shoot. I explained to them that we had an extremely good turnout, and it would've have been more than beneficial for them to hold it at their shop. I told them that we were refused for some reason. Their explanation was that the local authorities allow them to hold only a limited amount of events a year, but would be glad to help next year.

I'll definitely be visiting LA more often. I'm on clublexus more often nowadays, but would be glad to help with translating stuff here and there. If you guys have any Japanese cultural questions as well, please let me know.

I was wondering does anybody got any more pictures from the meet? I need some pictures of the meet
that shows all cars, people etc... like from far away? Need these for next coming issue of some VIP magazines.

i wasn't trying to imply you were trying to get some action, lol. given that i took the picture, i thought that perhaps you were interested in more pics... or you wanted to know the name of the photographer in the picture to get pics from the shoot... or you wanted info on the car, which apparently is what you want. sorry for the confusion.

Nah. Unfortunately just some harmless bottles of Japanese tea (from Nijiya, I think) and a bunch of stickers. Next year I'll bring some plastic ninja throwing stars and samurai swords to irritate you guys to death.
