Guys;
Need your opinion on Bimmer E46. I'm planning to get it but still in dilemma on how to mod it into a ViP style looks. Or does a bimmer considered as a Euro Style? What kinda kits that are closest to a ViP looks ? Would appreciate if you could post with pics too.
I'm looking forward your honest opinions from you guys. Hope u all can furnish me all the ViP factors which I can fit in for the E46. Thanks guys.
Cheers.

picture a yazuka in one and how he(or his henchmen) would drive it. it's not just style - it's lifestyle.

Wow... high roller! Am i correct in saying that car will cost more than an average house over there?
But back to your question, yes it is normally a Euro car. For some reason the japanese dont tend to mess with Beemers so much (you might see the occasional 7 series, or the rare 5 series),
But that doesnt mean it cant be made to look nice. If i were you I would look at Indonesia, since it is close by and from my memory they make some really good looking cars.

VIP starts with platform, you can however pimp it out. :2funny:

BMW designed the car as a "sports-sedan", so you can VIP style it, but there isn't much in VIP aero.

but what about custom made the bodykit?
i do come across a bimmer in a Japan vip car magazine... but since i'm still new in this scene & bimmer, i can't recall which kit they are using at that point of time.

Register on E46fanatics.com, if it asks the referrer was Rome. <-ME!
Then you can learn more about the technical parts of the car and meet some cool new people.
DO NOT go asking them for advice on VIP style, they consider VIP=spending alot of money on anything.
You can try to VIP style an e46. I will post some photoshops I have made that are very feasible later.

i've owned two (2) bmw E46s and i haven't come across "VIP" or "Euro-VIP" styled parts, kits, etc. i think it's more vip-inspired or vip-styled more than anything else. owning both an audi a4 and a infiniti q45t, i can honestly say the 2 is hard to mix. i mean, a JP fusa and kitsuna in my a4? or a anceltion vip car window curtains? hmmmmm.... *flamesuit on* -- but nah, build the bimmer how YOU like and use vip-inspired cues and inspiration for your ride... do whatever makes u happy and stand by your mods... my homie cody said it best: "to each is own".

Hi xk-y33 a.k.a. Mikey;
Thanks for your inspirational advise.. now u make me more confident of building-up a very vip styled e46. I'm kinda afraid that people wud only label VipStyle cars to Japanese sedans only and think I'm kinda blur block guy who are not understands the vipstyle all about.and hopefully with all the info's and knowledge which i had gather, i hope that i can make my e46-vipstyle car project be acheive. Thanks again. cheers.

On an e46 chassis, I would go with the Rieger kit. I had an E46 sedan with the Rieger front, sides, and Kerscher rear. I also made a custom widebody, using the flares from Riegers E36 Infiniti kit. Hope this helps. dtmpower.net was my source for all my info back in the day.

that is not even close to VIPstyle. just looks like your average very-mildly tuned bimmer.

^ Agreed. The e46 is too small of a sedan IMO.

yeah, that is just a 3 series w/ an m3 front and m3 wheels. nothing even remotley VIPstyle.
id start w/ new wheels and drop it down about 2 more inches. but thenits till going to just look like a normal modded bmw. i cant picture a 3 series being VIPstyle because they are so curvy and small.

hmm, I have a 2003 325i and I never even thought to post it here. I think my 1989 Cressida is way more VIP. I dunno, I like the BMW in stock form. It looks good and is comfortable to drive. But hey, you may be the first one to pull it off VIP style. I say go for it!
