Hello everyone. Just picked up my pearl white 2006 scion xA and I am interested in styling it VIP. Here is what is on my list so far any comments and suggestion would be most appreciated.

I dropped it two and a half inches on springs. Want to go lower but roads here don't allow for that.
crystal AC knobs . . . just bought
window tint 35% front limo sides 20% back

Wishlist
Would like a nice set of wheels but I need sidewall so I was thinking no bigger than 17's
OTG spacer and rear camber
Front camber???
would like a bodykit but again roads suck here in LA.
Curtains
Woodgrain kit
Custom made tables for the xA front passenger and rear passengers
Carputer with touchscreens for rear
extra stuff as ideas crop

so what do you think???

Cool, another Scion 8)

From my experience with 17s, If you want you want to run 215/40 tires, get at least 17x8.5 wheels and at least a 3" drop. If you want to run 205/40, get at least 17x8 wheels and more than a 3" drop. I've also rn 205/45 for the fat sidewall, but it won't let you get low enough - might as well get 16s.

Also, a 3" drop on a Scion is not too big of a deal. I've been running around San Francisco (I've yet to see any US roads worse than SF) on a 3" drop, no different than when i had a 2" drop on springs. If you're worried about scraping, you could probably do w/o a body kit. Besides IMO, I think a nicely stanced car w/o a kit, would look better than a kitted car w/ an so-so sance.

Oh, and post up if up if you ever find a real wood grain kit. I'd be interested in knowing too. So far, the only thing I've seen are wood grain appliques...IMO, I'd rather go stock than run stick on wood.. lol

welcome. do you plan on leaving it white?

Yeah I want to leave it white. I specifically pick this color because I thought it would look clean kinda like a limo. I know most VIP styled cars are black that is why I chose white trying to be different.

If really wish I could. I am taking care of the I.C.E first then wheels. Just scared driving on the roads around here.

weak excuse. There are alot of people on here who drive on bad roads slammed. It seems that the whole "my roads are crap" excuse is taking over this country!

tru dat but you haven't busted 5 rims before I bet. I have. So I am waiting to move to an area of the city where the roads are better maintained (i.e. where all the money goes) by christmas. The bodykit I have found on for $500 probably fiberglass but I am going to check it out.

what brand wheels and how drunk were you?

Seriously, I drive to and from a freaking PORT daily where road trucks beat the road and cause huge pot-holes... However, with a bit of carefull driving and the excellent build and quality of Work Wheels, I never had a problem. :idiot2: :2funny:
