View Full Version : VIP lifestyle
Ok, I didn't see one of these threads in here and since I can't post out of the 101 section yet (don't think so anyways) I'll start one.
What's you're favorite "VIP" indulgence?
Mine:
CAO maduro box press and a bottle of Johnny Walker red label.
The "square" cigar is a good conversation starter in the local cigar bars.

i dont get it. are we talking about cars, or being a very important person?
non cars: front of the line pass everywhere in vegas. =)
cars: just getting a double take when rollin dumped.
I'm talking what you do away from cars that exudes a lifestyle befitting of someone who drives a VIP car.

I dunno about vip lifestyle, but I love nice drinks like cognac. I liked cognac before I bought my car though lol. Remy XO is prob my fav
I can drink mostly anything when I am with the friends, but if it feels right, I'd rather drink cognac pretty much anytime.

Well, I guess for me, VIP is definately more of a lifestyle.
Knowing how to keep it classy, while keeping a bit of a wild undertone.
VIP is for the people that appreciate the finer things in life, while maintaining a level of humbleness( real word?) like HH said in an article,
"Money talks, wealth whispers."

I think I include the car with it though. vip lifestyle to me is driving as low as physically possible..and parking it on the frame. Driving around with the windows down, yet AC blasting..haha. For real though, I love me some good cognac as well as some top shelf cigars. I usually keep both humidors full and still might convert my glove box to a mobile humidor. That way I don't have to worry about forgetting my herfidor.

For me, I like dressing really nice, so I'll indulge myself in nice clothes.

Good food lol.
Edit: Sorry for bringing up an old thread. I didn't think a page back would have been so old!

Always staying classy. Whether it be a night out with the guys, going to the gas station or just bullshitting with friends. I'm a big fan of clothes, suits are a huge plus. Maintaining yourself while always being humble like Mr. Doback said and not coming off real cocky.

I'm gona have a friend get some cuban's on his next deployment.Cubans are over rated...seriously. The only cubans I usually buy are Cohiba's but be careful that you don't get stiffed. There's a lot of fakes out there. The ring label is the give away. This is exactly what it should look like:

The number of boxes and lines (and their size in relation to the rest of the ring) as well as the gold leafing being raised lettering and it saying "Habana Cuba" in that font. Just be careful not to buy a cheap crapola imitation...happy smoking!

So true, I personally prefer Montecristo or Romeo y Julieta coronas over Cohibas when buying cubans. But still the best cigars come from the Dominican Republic and Ecuador, for me atleast. They ain't as over-priced or strong/heavy as your typical cubans, so I like 'em more. Too bad I grew up being a chain smoker so had to give up smoking the good shit on a daily basis, so now I smoke a 20-pack of cigarillos per day but only a few times a month a proper cigar

OpusX by Arturo Fuente is one of my favorites. I recently picked up a box of Obsidian Maduros and they are REALLY good too. I like some of what Rocky Patel puts out as well.

What's your preference on the side?
For me it's a regular café or a café corretto, depending if I'm driving, with a spiced cigarillo. But with half/full corona I prefer a good full bodied scotch like Glen Elgin or Lagavulin.
The worst combination that I've tried is a strong Dutch half corona w/ proper Czech absinthe on the side, separately they're ok'ish but together is a thing I don't wanna try again =)

Spending several years on Wall St, I became very interested in suits, ties, watches and wine.
I have 4 Armani Collezioni, 5 Ermenegildo Zegna, and a few Hugo Boss. I also have a case of Verite La Muse 2007 Merlot for a special occasion !!!

Too fat for nice suits so i go ghetto fabulous:
Double cup of sprite and Tanqueray, pressed n fresh Dickies shirts, various cheap color suede shoes, Levis custom by me and expensive watches. But staying coordinated is key. Shoes match the hat, shirt matches the color of the band on the watch. Or the watch matches the shoes and hat and shirt matches the style of jeans.
