Infiniti FX45 (questions and pics)

I’ve always like the VIP look and I’ve always wanted a big body car but I had to get something that would pull my jet skis and motorcycles so I ended up with an SUV. The FX45 is the only thing that caught my attention because of the sleek lines, aggressive handling, and strong motor. My first car was bagged out and a lot of headaches so I wasn’t sure if I wanted to do it to this ride but now I’m really considering it. I’ve done a lot of work to my car within the year that I’ve had it but its more of the DUB style.

Questions:

Do yall think it would look weird if I went more towards a VIP look for my car?
If I should do it what would be some good suggestions over what I have planned?

I’m thinking of an AirRunner kit, different wheels that’s more of a solid face and staggered, slammed with negative camber, and then add the other detail work to it.

Here’s some pics of my old car, my Audi TT, and FX45.

yes it will look fugly to see a vip style.

imo, i think vip look is just butt ugly to do on a suv.

since you're hauling your little jetskis and motorcycles, just throw on some air ride helper springs in the back so you can level out the weight.

but if i had your money...
cut that floor up with sawzall, custom chassis out of square tubing, do a body drop, custom bag mounts, wheelwell tubs, 4link the bitch up, rock some good fitting wheels, etc.

but i dont think you're ready.

you can certainly add some elements from vip styling to your fx (it looks great btw :coolsmiley: ) but if you try to call it vip you will get flamed on this site ;)

i would definetly go with some staggered nice fitting wheels, lip instead of full face, that would look sick! I love your sound setup too

what headlights did you put on the front of your integra?

Those are CL Headlights the Older Cl's 1997s

Hey, BTW
I noticed your headlights are blue on the Fx
Are those tint or Blue film.

IF I had money though right? That would cost a lot to make a custom chassis out of square tubing and do a body drop considering the fact that it’s a Unibody.

Brandicus:
That’s really what I mean… adding some elements from VIP styling to my FX. That’s all I want.. The aggressive look but I wouldn’t try to claim it as VIP or JDM or anything else that’s it isn’t. I’ve seen too many posers in my day and don’t want to add to that population. I just want a good-looking car.
Thanks for the help and the props man. The Lights on my integra came off of a 99 Acura CL.

BoOsty :
Its blue film from stickercity.com

Your FX is pretty sick as it is...you said you needed it to tow right? I doubt someting Vip even inspired could two anything, kindof opposite you know? :P
But you could push it a bit further, with more drop - this would take bags in your case right? - and playing with spacers or deeper wheels

nice FX. all u need is some wheels with a machined look. maybe some HREs. i love the system. who did it? its going to be complicated to make this vip style but its not impossible.

The system was done by a shop in Houston call Stereo EFX. Even if I don’t have the VIP style I’m sure I’ll still be happy with it as long as I have it bagged out like my first car. That’s just the look I want, to be low. Down and out with some better wheels and I should be happy.

50 shot dry. I don’t like using it because my car has an electric throttle so I can’t hook up a switch to shot at full throttle. I have to use a momentary switch and I don’t trust it. I’m thinking of just using that for extra air and linking it to a flat tank in my spare tire well when I bag it out.

bleh, you're part of the houston show scene... :'(

:2funny: I'm from Austin btw, good luck on your FX though! They're definitely 100x better than the Murano stock for stock! :smitten:

A Lexus LX470 would've been a better platform to achieve a VIP "look", but you can always get inspiration to this.
