Nah, didnt go to SAS this time... Spent saturday putting coilovers on the Cima and fixing the exhaust.
Sunday I had to run around finalising stuff for my holiday. Was there any widebody VIP cars there?

Btw, I can HIGHLY recommend coilovers for your car. Its great driving around slammed, knowing and feeling that the struts are DESIGNED to run at this height. Can fly around corners like a go-kart now!

Honestly, sometimes i juz think that those number plates name are rediculous~ :buck2:
some of 'em r funny, but the "obvious" sh|t(as in once u see that kinda plate, u'll already know that is typical indo definitely) that makes me irritated..

ure ride is on coilover?i thought u got a bagged system man. Anyway, that's good thing to have a japanese cars, u can messed around lil' bit with 'em.
don't really have to worry about the computers' stuff in the car.

n yes i'm gettin my coilover this wednesday, finally u know, coz my regular mechanic guy was busy during the autosalon, fixin up my friends' rides.
n i juz luv runnin on low ride, but the thing is that i can't get home n can't go anywhere in sydney man. This is my daily ride, well at least u got
ure gf's car 2 go around with. I got none, so that's why there're so many things i really have to consider(goin out with friends, family comes from overseas, hardly u can park any underground n building carparks) know what i'm sayin.

so in the end, air bag is the solutions to all these sh|ts but err my budgets r very tight. hehe

Good to see i didnt miss anything this time at SAS though. Would have been nice to display my Cima there once, but maybe i'll see it in a mag one day...

Yeah, i put coilovers in on the weekend and i wouldnt look back. Even on an impractical car like mine, being (almost permanently) low is more manageable than having to worry about what height your airbags are, and worrying about popped or failing components.

But dont think that Japanese cars dont have as many computers as german ones! There is separate computers for every little thing on this car. Would you believe the power window system is essentially a computer LAN with each window motor being a 'terminal' on the network? Insane really.

But coilovers are not as 'permanent' as just lowered springs. I had to raise up the front suspension a bit on Saturday, and including the time taken to jack up the front of the car (drive onto blocks of wood so the jack will fit under), and taking off the wheels, adjusting the coilover height and putting it all back down, took much less than an hour. Not exactly something you can do when you get to a speedhump in the road, but certainly something you can do before your parents come or before a night out where you will need some clearance...
