What up people Im sure you westcoasters have seen this. Its a new mag from Primedia and the editors of Import Tuner that focuses on the Micro-Compact automotive culture I had to pick up the premiere issue and its pretty nice.Wouldnt you know one of our members Freddie (AFLS430) from Autofashion his Fit made this issue in all its VIPstyle glory Noblesse kit,Work Seekers.....the list goes on very nice Freddie and congrats your always good for a magazine spot.A couple of xB's the Skunk2 Fit (cover car) and the Blitz Vitz (Yaris over here) made the grade too.Theres a nice buyers guide in there too.Anywho I wanted to share this with all my fellow Micro-Compact owners I think you'll dig it.

import tuner is rice, if siphon is made by them, then it's going to be rice too. those magazines are made for bandwagoners and ebayers. sure a few cars will pop up in there that are good, but mostly, it's for the mainstream crowds, with 'show' cars blah blah.

this book will be biased toward the Fit, but it's a good try to keep the market moving in the right direction

They could have picked better cars for the premiere issue. But the autofashion fit is definitely real clean.

Do you think the Mini would be part of this segment??? there really arent a bunch to choose from here in America.

this magazine could be short lived unless they start doing some research on what's hot in Japan and Europe. THen it may kickstart a new segment of car tuning for real. Maybe they should feature some cars from Japan to whet everyone's appetite for more.

But Siphon is geared towards new small compacts. This magazine will have to drive the market to gain interest in new small cars. Or like I said, it will not make it to it's December 07 issue. It would be good to feature some small cars from Japan like Super Street, Import Tuner and others used to do. Then we had Skylines and all kinds of RHD cars showing up here. A Mag like this could do that again.
