front = 19 x 8.5 via 33 offset

rear = 19 x 9 via 27 offset

theres not enough clearance in the front with that offset. i was able to jack it up and there is good clearance from the fender to mount a stretched tire. ive also tried mounting the rear wheel to the front and it still cannot clear the caliper. should i shave my caliper, or just get extended lugs and spacers, or both? i guess this is good information for those who want to know about clearance on a 95+ ls400

thats kinda weird??? i have a 19x9 +25 A disk on mine and it clears fine and the face of my rim is flat...yours is curved...hmmm maybe you just put a 3mm or 5mm spacer to clear the caliper..dont shave the caliper

What year is yours? 95+ IIRC have dual sided dual piston which is why we have to run r-disk or high disk. Id just get some spacers, with that width and offset youre probably gonna want some anyway if you go low enough.

BTW are you talking about Work A disk? Or the black fleet wheels youre selling cause thats totally different.

the black-fleet that i have only have 2 Disk types...A and B (A=high disk), and (B=lowdisk)

it is the same as a WORK A disk...but Hes working with an AME...so AME doesn't have as many disk types as WORK

AME has 3 different faces... I know 98-00 LS's have a caliper 'almost' identical to Mk IV Supra's... do the 95-97 have the same? Because I have to run high disk on mine to clear the calipers on my 99.

yeah, the 95-97 caliper has dual-sided piston nearly identical to mkiv.

i don't know which disk type i have, seeing how i got it used. the wheel spokes do curve a lot, it's hard to say which disk type just by looking at it just because of the design of the wheel... is the disk info stamped anywhere on the back of the wheel?

The front brakes were changed from a single-sided 2-piston type to an opposed-cylinder 4-piston type.

this was from 95-00

that was the only change...the size of the caliper remained the same

sorry bro only thing marked on the back of the face is size and offset stamped...no disk type

High disc, Low Disc and Super low disc

I had High and Super low on my 929. Sounds like you have Low or super low. Get spacers.

Can't wait to see the finished product.

Dont think its the same as Work a disk because work a disk doesnt fit my car. AME does have the same amount as work. Super low, low and high disk which is O, A and R disk respectively. Specs for each are very close in comparison.

psychedelicbeats: Did you start pulling your rear fenders out before you got your wheels? or after?

I was under the impression you can fit 19x10 +25 (245/35) on a stock fender of a celsior by removing (cutting / rolling) the inner fender lip

you are somewhat correct in regards to fitting a 19x10+25 with shaving/rolling/pulling of fenders. camber is also another factor to determine fitment

but i did not do it. with my rear wheel size which is a semi-conservative 19x9+27, there is no need for it as my intended plans were not to shave the fenders to start with. as seen in the pictures, i was test fitting it and my initial impressions were true. i can, however, opt to shave it later if i feel that it needs to look wider via spacers. the rear wheel specification sounds small, but the wheel itself i believe looks to be a super low disk (bought it used) which negates the impression of the wheel being conservative and rather a bit aggressive looking. i am headed for the exe/vip sport look

here's a few more in progress pics. i just mounted tires today and i'm pretty happy about it. didnt want to go for a major tire stretch. i should be able to drop the car A LOT lower tomorrow with a diff suspension setup and take more pics. right now, it's on eibachs with stock struts =(

after shaving a few mm of my front calipers because the 15mm spacer still wouldn't let my wheels clear, i was able to mount on the wheels today to give it a test for drivability(tires). the camera phone pic doesn't show much fender-to-wheel gap :lol:

i'm still holdin out until easy street has some kind of bolt on air sus for a ucf20. until then, eibach l-sportlines w stock struts =(
