yeah you can use the cd maybe. There is no maps for the navi, the radio isnt the same frequencies, and there is a bunch of harnesses missing.

But if any of you wanna be JDMl33t I have a ton of these laying around as well as the Aristo units and some landcruiser units too.

LoL, apparently it has DVD and MP3 capabilities. Were these technologies even around in 1998? I suspect somebody will be wildly disappointed with that one.

Lorin, I dont suppose you have a Y32 OEM monitor, with harnesses? Not because i want to be JDM1337 (heck, my car is already JDM in the truest sense), but because i want a stock looking screen for my audio system...

I get the feeling shipping to Australia might be painful though... Let me know anyway.

Im bidding on it, but before I did I askd the seller if it would work on a Q45? what to do to make the US Navi work, and what about the radio stations? he respond sasying that it came out of a 1998 Cima and will plug into anything nissan or infiniti, he said al I need is to get a US Navi disk (cd) to make the Navi work and they have them for sale on ebay for $30- as well as the FM converter for the radio which I found for $0.89 !!!! on ebay. He included `If your car has a digital climate control, your harness will plug into this unit, because it has all the digital climate controls on it with touch screen!... Im not sure how high I will bid, but I htink it may be worth it.. what do you guys think?

Says it came from a president on the auction... I really wouldnt bid too much on it because I can almost guarantee that the harnesses wont be the same. If Lorin can get me one, i fully expect to have a large wiring job ahead of me. I like car electronics though so its fine for me - but only if a length of the harness is included (this doesnt seem to have it)

Btw the navigation, even IF the US navi CDs worked (which they wont - unless you get navi CDs from 1998 and even then it would be doubtful), will be entirely in Japanese. Do you speak fluent Japanese? I am 50% there and i still have to concentrate hard when navigating a Japanese navigation unit
